EZ-Domes are a range of single-tube arch frame structures for 30, 35 and 40’ widths. They are manufactured with heavy duty 4 5/16” HDD galvanized steel oval tubes for superior rigidity. All EZ-Domes are supplied with the same fabric cover options, and warranties, as the standard MegaDome arch-truss buildings.

All MegaDomes are CAN/CSA A660 certified, in conformance to the National Building Code of Canada (NBCC) requirements for all pre-engineered building—ensuring strict quality performance for engineering, manufacturing and assembly. The major Material Quality Standards, such as CSA, ASTM, ULC, AWPA, NFPA, and NBCC are adhered to. MegaDomes are Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certified.

P. Eng. signed & sealed construction drawings are available for each project, together with Letters of Assurance of Professional Design and Commitment for Field Review (Schedules B1 & B2), if required by the Building Inspector.

Designed for your project’s location. MegaDomes are designed for snow, rain, and 30/50 year wind loads for YOUR project’s specific location —in accordance with Appendix C

(Climatic Design Data) of the National Building Code of Canada.

MegaDomes are covered with ultra-durable POWERSHIELD® 12 oz/sq.yd woven polyethylene fabric. Some of the colors offered are translucent membranes – which let in natural daylight; are cooler in summer time, and which reduce energy costs. Other colors, featuring a black intermediate layer, are opaque. The interior color of all membranes are white.

MEMBRANE COVERS

MegaDomes offer excellent resistance to corrosion. As a standard for effective general corrosion protection, low temperature silicone-bronze welding in conjunction with pre-galvanized steel is employed in the manufacturing of the MegaDomes® arch-frames.

For superior protection and for corrosive environments, hot-dip galvanizing, with a 4 mil. thick zinc coating, applied after fabrication and welding is available. This provides a life expectancy of 50 years, in general use; and 25 years in industrial use.
