Overview of the semester
Integral elementslooking at the work that I have produced from this semester, I have found that the research is a very important part of the de-sign process to me before I start generating and creating my own designs. I found that I struggled more to generate ideas and de-signs if I had not done any research as I felt I did not have a starting point for the project. This was especially true with my Channel 4 Annual Report because I didn’t research properly and rushed into it. This then lead to that project taking much longer than it should have.
Successlooking at the work that i have produced from this semester, I feel I have been most successful in my branding projects. I have enjoyed the branding projects the most this semester and I have found my two main interests lie in branding and editorial.
PersonalityI am interested in branding and editorial work as these are the areas within design that I enjoy the most. I have a clean and minimalistic style which I feel works best with branding because it is best if the brand is easy to remember. In the future, I would like to do branding or editorial work as I feel these are my strengths and are also the areas I enjoy most.
