For sale is a prototype engine that I made and I have a patent pending for. This is an improved and cost-effective design for opening and closing the intake and exhaust valves of an internal-combustion engine using electric solenoids.Google; "Meisel Engine Patent", If you're interested in more technical details.

I converted this Quincy Model WW-80 two cylinder air compressor into an internal combustion engine. I originally purchased the compressor from a closing dry-cleaning store on Woodward Avenue in Birmingham Michigan for fifty-bucks. It sat for about 15 years in a corner of my shop, until one day I decided to embark on this electro-mechanical adventure. It is 80 CID per cylinder and I have it set-up using only one cylinder. This compressor is unique because it has water-cooling throughout the block as well as the head. In addition it has a full wet-sump oil lubrication pump and system. An external water pump is included, as well as the logic-power supplies to run the electronic circuitry. An automotive type battery is required for operation.

I have some video of the machine running, and will post on Youtube shortly.

This machine works well and proves the viability of my proposed concept. Now surplus to my needs, it needs an "angel-collector" or museum to give it a good home.
