Melford Town Center is a 466-acre comprehensive mixed-use community located at US Rt. 50 and MD Rt. 3/301 in Bowie, midway between Annapolis and Washington, D.C. To date St. John Properties has constructed over 1 million sq. ft. of office and flex/R&D space at Melford.

Melford Town Center includes more than 325,000 sq. ft. of R&D/flex space, with the potential for an additional 167,000 sq. ft. of flex/R&D space. The park contains more than 439,000 sq. ft. of office space, with the potential for more than 93,000 sq. ft. of additional office space. Suites are available in two, three and four-story class ‘A’ buildings, as well as single and two-story office buildings with direct access.

More than 86,000 sq. ft. of potential retail space at Melford Town Center can support a variety of uses, including restaurants, business and consumer services. The retail will support residential plans that include town homes, apartments and senior living units. Three on-site hotels, with one under construction, are also planned for Melford Town Center.

MELFORD TOWN CENTER | RESIDENTIAL

Upon completion the residential component of Melford Town Center will hold approximately 300 town homes, 1,500 apartment units with 140 senior living units.

Phase I located along West Curie Drive is expected to begin construction Summer 2018 and will include new retail sites to support the residential units. Phase I has a tentative completion date of late 2019.

Phase II located along East Curie Drive is expected to begin Spring 2019 with a tentative completion date of Summer 2020.
