Measures and impact
• How satisfied are you with your life nowadays? (wellbeing measure) Externally benchmarked with the ONS
• BTs wellbeing question improved to 70% in February 2018 (plus 3 points from last survey).
• BTs mental health related sick absence rate has decreased
• BTs funded rehabilitation service has delivered benefits for those using it as well as being effective in getting people backto work with 95% returning to their own role on full duties
• 15,000 line managers attended Managing Mental Health training and better equipped to support individuals with mental health issues (and outside of work)
• BTs “Work Fit – Positive Mentality” mental health promotion campaign:- 68% learned something new about ways to look after their mental health- 56% tried some of the recommendations and continued to practise them at the time of the survey- 51% of those who had made changes had noticed improvements in their mental health and wellbeing
