Rubrics vs Marking scheme• The main difference is that when the teacher is grading,
Marking guide lets you enter a number as the grade for a criterion - Rubric has preset levels for each criterion that the teacher can select from when marking that criterion. – Dan Marsden
• Marking Scheme Example: Solve for x where x2+2x+1=0. If x2+2x+1=0 Then (x+1) (x+1)= 0 1 mark i.e. x=-1 1 mark
