Bi-Directional Structured Messaging

One can send structured communication from a back office application to MeOnCloud. Examples of structured communication are Account Debit Intimation, Shipping Delivery Confirmation and so on. When we say bi-directional structured communication, we mean that the MeOnCloud messenger users will also have the ability to communicate back to the back office application via a structured information packet.

Messages with ‘Rich Text’

MeOnCloud has the ability to communicate messages in ‘Rich Text’ format. This lends to messages being formatted and presentable. Very useful when communicating promotional content, presenting a bill, etc.

Messages with embedded images and video links

MeOnCloud with its ability to embed images and links (Video, Document) gives more flexibility to the communicating organization to get across to the recipient in an effectual manner. This lends itself for distribution of coupons, promotional and marketing information.

Always-ON messaging capability through push notification

MeOnCloud brings in always-ON capability to any mobile application. This would enable the mobile application embedding MeOnCloud to receive push notification even when the application is not active.

Custom Buttons With in Message

MeOnCloud provides the ability to embed buttons in messages, these buttons can be preprogramed to trigger transactions in the backend. Some examples of buttons are ‘LIKE’, ‘PAY’, “CONTACT ME’, etc.

Messages with Password Protection

Secure communication like OTP, messages with account number and so on can be protected by password so that the same is not compromised even if the mobile device is lost.

Commands in Reply Message

MeOnCloud provides the ability to issue commands through messages. Any message starting with a designated special character ‘&’ is considered a command. The command if configured at the backend will trigger a transaction and will elicit a response as a reply message. For example ‘&BAL’ could give you your account balance as a reply message.

Private Subscriptions

MeOnCloud works on the concept of solicited notification as against the unsolicited notifications SMS deliver. A consumer has to subscribe to an entity (enterprise) to receive notification/messages from them. MeOnCloud supports subscriptions which are public (automatic) and private which need prior approval.

Support For REST APIs

MeOnCloud supports rich set of Restful APIs to send and receive messages. The APIs are simple to use and can be accessed over the internet (cloud) for ubiquitous access.
