Altar Flowers MemorialEach week you may honor a loved one with a gift of $150 to dedicate the floral arrangement that adorns our Sanctuary.
Memorial GiftsAt the death of a loved one, many choose in lieu of flowers to encourage friends and family to make a donation to a special charity or cause. Our Lady of Mercy has nourished the spiritual life of so many parishioners and those throughout the Diocese who come here. A Memorial Gift to our Traditions for Tomorrow Building Campaign is a wonderful way to acknowledge the lives of our beloved dead with a gift of loving generosity to the church that has been such a spiritual home. Ms. Caroline Lemann can discuss ways for you to remember your loved one. Consider adding a planned gift in your last will and testament to remember Our Lady of Mercy.

Habitat For Humanity Mercy Build DaySaturday, June 15th 8:00 am - 3:00 pm 922 N. 28th St.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, Christian-based housing ministry that works in partnership with deserving, low-income families and the community to eliminate poverty housing through building simple, decent homes. They help build community by involving diverse religions, social and business groups in the construction of homes and neighborhoods.
The Catholic Coalition Build, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, kicked off its 27th year with a Blessing of the Build and groundbreaking on a home located at 922 N. 28th Street in Baton Rouge. The Catholic Coalition Build is sponsored by seven local Catholic Churches including Our Lady of Mercy.
We want you to help us make this house become a home for a deserving family in our community.
Each church has taken on a Saturday to help and on Mercy’s Build Day, which is SATURDAY, JUNE 15th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, we’ll be caulking, installing cabinet trim, building a hood box, painting, and more. No experience is required to volunteer, but you must be at least 16 years old to participate.
