Everyone is born with the ability to be whoever they

choose to be.

I chose to be an artist.

My name is Meredith Fulmer.

I was born on an Air Force base in Ohio.

Being a military brat, I’ve lived in many places...

...even different countries.

Being exposed to so many vastly different places at

such a young age opened me up to many cultures

and inspiration that shaped me as a person and an

artist.

It gave me an interest in the people of the world and the characters they are.

II began to realize that all of these people were important to me.

They inspired me!

And that gave me the passion to inspire others like they inspired me.

I first began that mission using my passion for music.

I sang, I danced, I wrote my own music, I played several different instruments. ...and I LOVED it!

But I learned that I had a greater passion for art.

It was then that I decided I wanted to inspire through the art I created.

It’s an ongoing mission that has had its ups and downs.

...but I won’t give up!

I will always face the challenges life throws at me.

Right now, my challenge is marrying my passions for art, video games, and inspiring

others.

It’s why I chose to attend Full Sail University for their Game

Art program.

At Full Sail, I’ve been taught valuable new skills and improved on skills I already had.

Skills such as: Critical Thinking Problem Solving Communication Organization Time Management

But there is always more to learn!

The road to becoming a video game character artist who can

inspire is not an easy one.

It’s full of potential failures, heart aches, and dream crushing

experiences.

But this is my mission. It is my dream.

I’ve felt the pain from failing at my dream

But that is how I know what it takes to succeed
