Very busy in the kitchen this week as sushi was on the menu!

Lots of work needed to be done by the students to make the sushi from

scratch, but the students did an amazing job!

Churros were also awesome and our younger students had fun making

banana coconut pancakes!

P8/P9 have been reading Rainbow Fish over the last few

weeks.

Today we explored blue, purple and yellow fish with sparkly

shiny scales and made gooey fish out of hair gel in snaplock

bags.

Students cut fish out of jelly and shared their sparkly shiny

purple scales.

Ashley competed in a horse

vaulting competition in

Adelaide last week and look

how well he did!

He got one 1st, two 2nds and

one 3rd!

We're super proud of you,

Ash!

This week, some of the S1 and S2 students had a sustainability focus in their STEAM class. They

did a great job of making recycled paper by using used photocopy paper, ripping it up to

make pulp and making new sheets. It was very messy and the paper pulp felt weird but

everyone enjoyed learning how to make recycled paper.

Congratulations to our Primary and Secondary Cross-Country athletes that raced over the

past week! Cross-Country is tough! With mud, wet grass and hills to contend with (and sheep

for our Secondary kids!) but they all ran extremely well!

National Sorry Day, 26 May

National Sorry Day is a day to remember

and acknowledge the mistreatment of

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander

people who were forcibly removed from

their families and communities, which

we now know as ‘The Stolen

Generations’. On National Sorry Day we

acknowledge and reflect on how we

can all play a part in the healing

process for our people and our nation.

Flowers made for Sorry

Day by the students.
