*** STEM occupations are growing at 17%, while others are growing at 9.8%.

What is P-TECH?P-TECH stands for Pathways in Technology Early College High School. The Texas Education Agency has formally approved PTAA’s request to open P-TECH / ICIA across the district. • As part of the program, students can choose a career pathway and take courses that

provide the academic, technical, and workplace skills that are attractive to employers.

• Students have the potential to earn an associate’s degree in four to six years, along with industry certificates for their selected career pathway — opportunities that can potentially lead to paid internships and job placement after graduation.

• Students also have the opportunity to earn up to 60 hours of free college credit while pursuing their high school diplomas. Best of all, this opportunity comes tuition-free.

• One or Two years of internship with Industry Leaders like Sharp System, Kimley Horn.• We are also a Texas Success Initiative(TSI) Approved Testing Center.
