Message from the Executive Director

This Month’s Birthdays...

Birthday Party

As I write this message I am still enjoying the warm summer weather in mid-September. I am glad to see many residents enjoy sitting outside again now the worst of the heat is behind us. During my “to know you party” I enjoyed hearing many of your love ones share about their firstjob and many countries they have traveled to. We are planning an activity where everyone can add the date their family immigrated to America and from where. In our town hall last week I found out that my ancestors coming over in 1670 were not the first in the room to venture to this continent. This is just one of many ways my staff is learning about your parent and Celebrating them as a person.

Z also has a family picnic planned so watch for it to be announced on Smile.

Piano Tunes with Kim Join Kim in the Lobby every other Thursday or in the dinning room during your lunch for a relaxing morning as she plays many of your favorite arrangement of music delight.

Kate Keeler Music Show Join Kate Keeler a solo performer joining us for the second time as she sings many of our favorites from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.

October 18th at 11:00am

Bingo and Lunch at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Sign up at the front desk for a trip to our local catholic church for lunch and Bingo everyone wins.

Man’s Lunch Join the man in the activity room for a man’s lunch.

October Resident Celebration Join us in the private dinning room for a celebration with a special dinner come and celebrate with those who share the same birthday month.
