GENERAL

Mae Fah Luang University, an autonomous public university, was established on the 25th

of September 1998 according to the 1998 Royal Charter of Mae Fah Luang University, and was

granted royal permission to be named after the title by which the local people respectfully addressed and

referred to Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. This appellation of auspicious meaning signifies

the objectives of this university as a memorial of Thai people’ s loyalty to Her Royal Highness the

Princess Mother for Her boundless benevolence to people throughout the Kingdom

Established to serve as both a regional and national university, Mae Fah Luang University also

provides high-quality education services and resources of the neighboring counties of the Greater

Mekong Sub-region( GMS), and reaches out all if Southeast Asia. The entire area of university at Doi

Ngam is 4,997 rais, consisting mainly of hills, with a small amount of plain, and by consent of the

Cabinet, the University was given another 2,556 rais of Jom Mok Kaew Subdistrict, Mae Lao District,

Chiang Rai Province, to accommodate its future expansion. In addition, King RAMA IX also kindly

granted the University about 700 rais of land in Mae Suay District, Chiang Rai Province.

VISION

Mae Fah Luang University will be a medium-sized university of quality and international

academic standard, pursuing excellence in arts and various field of study, with the aim of cultivating

human resource for the nation as well as the Greater Mekong Sub-region, accumulating and developing

knowledge in varied fields and technology, and applying new-found knowledge in the social and

CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGNING CONCEPT OF MAE FAH LUANG UNIVERSITY

University is built to give an honor to Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother and gave an expression

of Lanna architecture by adapting and combining between Rai Mae Fah Luang’ s architecture and

modern architecture. Besides, it gives expression of the format that Her Royal Highness the Princess

Mother likes on designing concept such as red color is used with the roof and structure depends on

astronomical suitability on Doi Tung Royal Villa’ s ceiling, plates, embroider craft of Her Royal

Highness the Princess Mother on multipurpose Field, and structure plan as configuration of stars radiates

from the center.

Furthermore, tropical country architecture is applied on designing such as buildings besiege the

gardens to make some shade. Buildings are formed as rectangle to get highest light. The spacious

basement is applied for student’ s seats and footpath. Most of basement is improved compatible with

slope landscape.

In 2009, Mae Fah Luang University received a price of urban area design from Thai urban

Designer Association and in 2010; MFU is elected as one of Chiang Rai’ s 7 wonders in occasion of

Chiang Rai 750th anniversary.

ทนงพกของนกศกษาและทางเดนเชอมระหวางอาคารใหนกศกษาใชเดนทางไปเรยนในฤดฝน และการใชสอย

ในชนลางของอาคารสวนใหญสามารถปรบปรงใหเขากบสภาพภมประเทศทมความลาดเอยงไดงาย

ซง ป พ.ศ. 2552 มหาวทยาลยแมฟาหลวงไดรบรางวลงานออกแบบชมชนเมองดเดนประเภท

โครงการวางผงแมบทกลมอาคาร จากสมาคมสถาปนกชมชนเมองไทย และในป พ.ศ. 2553 ไดรบเลอก

ใหเปน 1 ใน 7 สงมหศจรรยของจงหวดเชยงราย เนองในโอกาสครบรอบ 750 ป ทพอขนเมงรายมหาราช

ทรงสรางเมองเชยงราย ในป 2555

EMBLEM

King Rama IX graciously granted Mae Fah Luang university permission to incorporate Her

Royal Highness The Princess Mother’ s onto the University’ s emblem. The monogram represent the

royalty and graciousness of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother which were instrumental in the

establishment of the University.

The Thai numerals “eight” and “nine” which are prominent in the monogram signify that Her

Royal Highness the Princess Mother was the mother of the former Kings, King Rama VIII and King

Rama IX. The flowers and leaves in the emblem symbolize the University’ s commitment awareness,

appreciation, protection, maintenance and development.

The University’s academic gown is designed after the idea of the northern Thai-style pennants,

which are considered a symbol of victory and are highly auspicious. The pennant design consist of:

A palatial profile, signifying in the tavatimsaheaven;

A mouse, signfifying the birth year of HRH the Princess Mother;

A naga, a high-order legendary animal in the traditional Lanna belief;

A tiger, signifying the year of founding of the University, 1998

PHRA CHAO LAN THONG CHALERM PRAKIAT

Phra Chao Lan Thong Chalerm Prakiat was built to celebrate in Honor of Her Royal Princess

Maha Chakri Sirindhon’ s 50 th, B.E.2549. The Buddha image was granted to install to be Buddha

image of Mae Fah Luang University. Phra Chao Lan Thong was built by Phra Chao Lan Thong, Pallava

art Buddha image style. This Buddha image is the principle Buddha image in Unbosot, Wat pra kaew

(The Royal temple), Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.

FEMALE STUDENTS’ UNIFORM

1. A white, unpatterned blouse of considerable thickness and appropriate size, having a

proportionate point-edged collar with an outside seam, sufficient length so that the tail can be

completely tucked inside the skirt, a proportionate shoulder facing, a 3-centimeter-wide vertical fold

along the middle of the back, a 3-centimeter-wide lapel on the front with 5 metal button each of

which is embossed with the university seal, short elbow-length sleeve each of whose edges has a

facing folded outward to form a 3-centimeter-wide band on the underside and a 6-centimeter-wide

band on the upper side, and being entirely double-seamed

2. A 3-centimeter-tall metal pin embossed with the university seal fastened onto the upper

right part of the blouse

3. A dark brown 3.5-centimeter-wide belt made of velvet or coarse leather, with a pointed

end and a 4-centimeter-wide rectangular metal buckle embossed with the university seal, to be fastened

at the top edge of the skirt

4. A black unpatterned skirt made of non-glossy fabric, with a formal design ang length

extending to the kneecap [denim, velvet or lacey material is prohibited]

5. First-year student: A pair of all-white canvas shoes and socks

STUDENT TRADITIONAL DRESS

Mae Fah Luang University gives precedence to promote and preserve art and cultural by

adopting a policy to conserve, inherit, promote and preserve national art and culture. Especially

campaign and encourage students to wear Lanna traditional dress to class every Friday, according to the

traditional dress code of university announcement, sign by Associate Professor Doctor Vanchai

Sirichana, President of Mae Fah Luang university. Dated on January 31, 2007.

MAE FAH LUANG UNIVERSITY THAI CLASSICAL DANCE; HOM NUAN KHAM DANCE

The Hom Nuan Kham Dance was created and inspired by the “Melodorum” or “Lamduan”, the

scented flower and symbol of Mae Fha Luang University. The dance is a fusion of local traditional

dance moves and modern interpretations, This dance is only performed on auspicious University

occasions or welcome revered guests. For example, the Hom Luan Kham Dance was performed during

the official opening ceremony of the Mae Fah Luang University before Her Royal Highness Princess

Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The distinct Hom Nuan Kham Dance is an integral part of the dance itself.

Each dancer applies long golden nails with a beautiful melodorum flower at the tips. The music

accompanying the dance is comprised of traditional Northern Thai Stringed instruments namely the

Salo, Seung, and Sor.

เปนดอกล าดวน (หอมนวลค า) ซงเปนดอกไมประจ ามหาวทยาลย จงไดตงเปนชอชดการแสดงฟอนหอมนวลค า

ใชเพลงฮมฟาบารม ในการประกอบฟอน จนเปนทยอมรบของการฟอนลานนาในปจจบน

Mae Fah Luang University’s Student Development Plan

The Mae Fah Luang University student development path specifies a graduate development

strategic plan which undertakes the Her Royal Highness the Princess mother’ s philosophy of

reforestation and development of human resources by aiming to develop people, cultivate knowledge,

instil quality, uphold virtues, and conserve nature, This complements the aims of the national economic

development plan to develop and prepare graduates in order to lay a path for national development that

can cope with the opportunities and obstacles of the modern era.

In order to conform with the aforementioned student development strategy and policy, student

development focuses on promoting morality and ethics, and on developing student potential in various

areas beyond academic knowledge including welfare services that are conducive to student learning.

Duty and responsibility of the student development division

The Student Development Division aims to promote students to have respectable personality and

social etiquettes, to be a good leaders and good followers, to have managerial skill, to live and work in

harmony with others, to be self-discliplined and respect social etiquettes, to maintain physical,

emotional and mental health, to uphold human virtue, to have a sense of self-and social responsibility

and to have a tolerant and self-sacrificing mind. All of these goals are for students to achieve the

students besides academic development.

To fulfill all of above- stated goals, the Student Development Division arranges activities that

respond to the developmental needs of the students in each year of students. Moreover, we use the

strategies that encourage students to perform and participate in the activities in which they are skilled

and interested, throughout the period of their studies in the university. The main duties entrusted to the

Student Development Division to improve students’ potential according to the university’s policy are as

follows.

1) Development of student’ ethics, integrity and personality

The mission is to develop ethics and integrity in students as well as to promote order

and discipline amongst students. To entrust with this mission is the department of student disciplines.

2) Promotion of Student’s Activities and Wellbeing

The mission is to arrange activities and volunteer projects for students based on their

ability and interest. To entrust with this mission is the department of student activities, the Department

of Sport, Health and adventure.

3) Provision of Welfare Conducive to Students’ Education

The mission is to provide students with welfare services conducive to the enhancement

of students’ potential. To entrust with this mission are the department of Scholarship Grants, the

Department of Students’ Dormitory and the Student Development Division’s Secretariat.

ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS

The university has a policy to promote, encourage and implement activities initiated by

students, so that the knowledge and experience they acquire through such activities will help them to

mature physically, mentally, emotionally and intellectually. Besides, doing these activities will enable

the student to constructively apply their academic knowledge to improve the society. Also, these are

also intended to foster amongst the students a sense of unity, as well as understanding of democracy

with a constitution monarch. These activities are classified into four categories based on the students’

interests and skill

1. STUDENTS’S ACTIVIES

The activities of this type are organized by Students’ Administrative Organisation and

Students’ Union, and exercised by the Students’ Activity Club. The Students’ Administrative

Organisation’ operation in four areas, as follows.

1.1 The operation of the Students’ Council

1.2 The operation of the Students’ Administrative Organization and Student’s Union;

1.3 The operation of the Students’ Activity Club; and

1.4 The operation of the School’s Activities

At present, these are a total of 41 clubs for the students to choose to join. These clubs are

divided into 5 major fields in response to the students’ skills and interest. Each student must apply to

be a member of least one club. In case student is interested in opening a new club or being an election

candidate for the Student’s Administrative Organization, the Students’ Union or the Students’ Council,

s/he can consult Mae Fah luang University’s Regulations on the Students’ Administrative Organization,

BE 2544 (2001)

2. SCHOOL’S ACTIVITIES

These activities are arranged by each School or Department for students of each year.

Arranging these activities is an important of the Student Development Division in establishing

cooperation in various aspects between students and their schools on the one end and the Students’

Administrative Organization and Students’ Union on the other. Such cooperative activities are

intended to foster an awareness of team-work and coordination in the following areas.

1) Activities performed by each school, department and student’s year ;

2) Coordination between each school, department and student’s year ;

3) Publicity of activities in each school, department and student’s year ; and

4) Allocation of budgets for activities.

3. ART AND CULTURE CONSERVATION

Activities relating to arts and culture promotion, conservation and dissemination are

intended to

increase students’ awareness of the duty to preserve Thai identities. The university places much

importance on the following areas.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Intended to educate students in various aspects of environmental conservation, these

activities

aim to create in students and awareness o the immeasurable value of the environment. With

Collaboration between the state and the private sectors, the university aims to become an institution

for environmental conservation, in dedication to the late Princess Mother’s determination to ‘grow

forests and cultivate people’ The tasks are in the following areas.

1) Promotion of environmental conservation;

2) Coordination of environmental conservation activities for student; and

3) Conservation of natural resources.

STUDENTS’ DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS

The university has a policy to train its students to conduct themselves respectably, to have

constructive values and to become decent citizens. Thus, the university needs to monitor the

student’s behavior in attempt to prevent improper conduct, ensure their security and provide them

with legal and/or arbitrating assistance in case of dispute or legal matters. Such responsibility

depends on both legal expertise and disciplinary regulations to ensure that the university’s policy is

observed.

GROUP ACCIDENT INSURANCE FOR STUDENTS

The university provides each student with an annual accident insurance whose world-wide,

24-hour coverage includes all kind of accidents

COMPENSATION IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT MEDICAL COVERAGE

An insured student can receive free [ not exceeding THB 20,000 per case] medical

treatment at any hospital participating in university’s insurance program. If the student has paid for

treatment [ in case of absence of insurance card or treatment in a non-participating hospital] , the

student can file a request with medical certificate and receipt to the Division of Student

Development Affairs, for reimbursement.

COVERAGE AND COMPENSATION

1. Medical treatment: not exceeding THB 20,000 per case;

2. Death due accident: THB 200,000;

3. Death due public accident: THB 200,000;

4. Complete disability due to an accident: THB 200,000;

5. Death due to an illness or any non-accident cause: THB 50,000;

6. Other compensations [in case the insured waives the insurance program’s coverage]:

- Out-patient compensation: THB 500 per case;

- In-patient compensation: THB 1,000 per day

SPORTS AND WELFARE

The university has a policy to encourage ever student to do physical exercise and/or play a

sport at least 30 minutes daily. Students can borrow sporting equipment and hold sporting or health

– promoting activities according to their interest and ability. This is to help student enhance their

health, use their free time wisely and develop a sense of unity, sportsmanship, ethics and integrity.

Besides, the university conducts campaigns to prevent road accidents, domestic accidents, drug

addiction and AIDS or HIV contraction. The university provides the community with other welfare

and health – related services. The university’s support for sporting and welfare activities covers the

following areas.

1. SPORTS EVENTS

1.1 Intra – varsity events,such as lamduan Games, Dormitory Student’s Sport,

Schools, Games; and

1.2 Inter – varsity events, such as Thailand’s Varsity Games.

2.1 Students’ health promotion activities;

2.2 Students’ health promotion campaigns; and

2.3 Anti – AIDS and anti – drug campaigns; and

3. TRAFFIC SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION

3.1 Traffic safety and accident prevention campaigns; and

3.2 Coordination with relevant agencies concerning traffic safety and accident

4. Military-Related Affairs

4.1 Army Reserve Force Training

Licensed in 2000, Mae Fah Luang University has since been an official training ground for

Army Reserve Force students. Students may apply for training for a period of 1 to 5 years.

Students wishing to apply at each level can receive application forms, submit them and

report to the Student Development Division within May of each year.

4.2 Temporary Exemption form military Reserve Force Enlistment

A male student having completed the third year of Army Reserve Force Training, and

having been registered for the military service, will be placed in Army Reserve Force and issued a

certification, together with an Army Reserve Force ID, Type 1. An Army Reserve Force member

will be enlisted by the government within 2 years to serve in the military.

The student wishing to be temporarily exempted from such reserve military server shall file

a request and relevant documents to the Student Development Division.

4.3 Temporary Exemption from Military Conscription

A male student aged 20 but not over 26 years (up until the current year), who did not join

the Army Reserve Force Training, or did not complete the third or master’s degree level, are

required for military conscription.

A student wishing to be temporarily exempted from military conscription shall file a request

and relevant documents to the Student Development Division.

Scholarships and financial assistance The university has a policy to provide scholarships for good and well-behaved students who are in financial trouble. Since its inception, the university has been supporting students financial based on its resolution that ‘the university will not let any students who is capable of learning drop out of the university just because of financial shortage’. Purposes of scholarships

1. A student with a financial shortage will receive a scholarship until s/he graduates, provided that s/he is well-behaved, hard-working, perseverant and economical.

2. The student is assisted successfully to overcome unexpected financial obstacles. 3. There are sufficient scholarships for the students in need.

Qualifications of a scholarship grantee. 1. Being currently enrolled as a Mae Fah Luang University student; 2. Being in shortage of financial support for education; 3. Regularly participating in the university’s activities; 4. Being well-behaved, hard-working, perseverant and economical; 5. Upon applying for an MFU scholarship, not concurrently receiving another

scholarship (except the Nation Educational Loan); 6. Having a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average ( GPAX) of 2. 00 upon

submitting a scholarship application; and 7. If an applicant is under any of the Following conditions, his/ her scholarship

application will be considered by the Scholarship Committee on a case-by-case basis. (a) The applicant’s parents are deceased. (b) The applicant’ s parents have been handed a life sentence or a sentence that

outlasts the applicant’s completion of his/her education. (c) The applicant’s parents have been declared bankrupt. (d) The applicant’ s parents are incapacitated, quasi-incapacitated or completely

unable to provide the applicant with financial support for education.

4. เปนผทมความประพฤตเรยบรอย ขยน ตงใจศกษา และประหยด อดออม

5. ในขณะทขอรบการพจารณาใหไดรบทนจะตองไมอยระหวางรบทนการศกษาอน

(ยกเวนทนกยมเพอการศกษา)

6. นกศกษาไดผลการเรยนเฉลยสะสม (GPAX) ไมต ากวา 2.00 กอนสงใบสมครขอรบ

7. นกศกษาทผปกครองเสยชวต ตองโทษถงทสดใหจ าคกตลอดชวตหรอจ าคกเทา หรอ

เกนกวาระยะเวลาการศกษาของนกศกษา เปนบคคลลมละลาย เปนบคคลไรความสามารถหรอ เสมอนไร

ความสามารถ หรอเปนบคคลทไมอาจรบภาระคาใชจายแกนกศกษาไดอยางสนเชงตามทคณะกรรมการ

พจารณาทนฯ ไดพจารณาและมความเหนพองตองกนใหเปนผมสทธเขารบการพจารณาทนเปนกรณพเศษ

The National Educational Loan

A student can apply for a National Educational Loan, provided that s/he meets the qualification requirements. Some basic qualifications are being a Thai national, being in financial trouble and being from a family with a total annual earning of no more than an equivalent of THB 200,000. The loan will cover the grantee’s tuition and / or regular stipends. Applications for National Loans shall be considered in accord with the National Educational Loan Regulations.

The projects that provide educational funds listed below are only some

examples. The student can obtain more information at the Student Development Affairs

Division.

Other Benefits 1. Lunch Project

This project aims to ease the financial burden of the students working part-time for the university’s various divisions. The working students will receive coupons which can get lunch at cooperated food shops in the campus.

2. Emergency Loan A student with a sudden or unexpected financial need, whether for welfare of

educational purposes, can apply for an interest-free emergency loan of THB 1,000 which should be repaid within one month.

3. Delayed Payment for Tuition To ease needy students’ financial burden, the university allows needy students to make

a delayed payment for their entire, tuition, or part of their tuition. The unpaid sum will be paid in full or installment as stated in each case’s terms and conditions. However, the entire sum must be paid within the semester in order for the student to be eligible to enroll for the following semester.

3. Mae Fah Luang University Dormitory’s Regulations

1. Exit and entry

1.1 Dormitory is opened at 6 am and closed at 10.30 pm.

1.2 The student returning to the dormitory after 10 pm will be booked. If booked 3 times in

one semester, the Dormitory Affair Section will notify the student’s parents.

1.3 Upon entering the dormitory, the student must hand in his/ her dormitory resident card

to the building’s security officer. The student shall have his/her dormitory resident card with him/her at

all time.

2. Visit to a resident

2.1 Visitors can meet a resident only in the area designate by the university.

2.2 Non-residents are prohibited from entering the residence area; permission can be

obtained on a case-by-case basis.

3. A resident shall refrain from causing any disturbance; the following is strictly prohibited.

3.1 Gambling is not allowed

3.2 Alcoholic drinks, intoxicants and addictive substances

3.3 Weapons, explosives, combustibles, detonators, firecrackers and any other like object

which may cause a fire or danger, or scare other people

3.4 Animals

3.5 Making loud noises or doing anything that disturbs other people.

4. Electrical appliance other than those allowed by the dormitory are strictly prohibited, for

example, a TV set, electric pan, refrigerator, microwave oven or toaster.

5. Electrical appliances permitted in a dormitory room include a fan, iron, hair-roller, hair dryer,

PC, radio and electric rice cooker. For items other than these, the student must consult the dormitory

ruler. If a prohibited item is found, the dormitory ruler will keep it and return to students on the end

of semester.

6. The student is strictly forbidden to take any centrally provide facilities for personal use

7. The student is strictly forbidden to cook in the dormitory room

8. The student is strictly forbidden to remove, modify, extend or move any items in the dormitory

room or building

9. The student is strictly forbidden to wear shoes in the resident area

10. If the student needs to stay overnight elsewhere, such as for a home visit or a university’ s

activity, the student must complete and submit a request form to the Dormitory Office and must

return to the dormitory no later than the date or time indicate

11. The student is strictly forbidden to have a party or entertainment activity without permission

from the university or dormitory ruler

12. If student violates the dormitory regulations, he/she is subject to a penalty as stipulated in Mae

Fah Luang University Regulations on Student Discipline, BE 2542 AD 1998

4. Mae Fah Luang University Dormitory’s Consequential Facts

1. Consultant and coordinate with dormitory officer

1 .1 In workdays, student can contact the dormitory ruler for 24 hours at the dormitory of the

student. For more choice student can call to the staff by the attached phone number on board in

front of the dormitory.

1.2 In holidays, student can contact for information at

F2 building, call number 0-5391-7106

F6 building, call number 0-5391-7116-7

LUMDUAN building, call number 0-5391-7109

2. Ill student

2.1 Student can take the medicine from the dormitory ruler at the student’s dormitory.

2.2 For emergency case, student can make a request to go to hospital by contacting dormitory

ruler or shift officer at 3 offices abovementioned or by cell phone.

3. Electricity charge calculation

3.1 The officer of building division would note electricity unit in the end of every month

3.2 The officer of asset and properties division would calculated electricity charge by divide from

amount of the occupants per one room; 5 baht per one unit

3.3 The expense would show on student registration page.

3 .4 Student shall pay the electricity charge at the division of finance and accounting AD2

building by the 7th of every month.

4. Room/Dormitory transferring

4.1 Complete room/dormitory transferring form

4.2 Submit to dormitory ruler for consideration

4.3 Only the Student who has the permission from dormitory ruler can move a

room.

5. Dormitory’s equipment repairing

5.1 Room’s equipment is ruined by deterioration; university would fix the equipment without

charge

5.2 If room’s equipment is ruined by action of student. Student will be charge the damage of

material

5.3 Student shall take care of room/ dormitory property; if the damage is found, notify

dormitory ruler to carry out repairing.

6. Resigning

6.1 Complete dormitory resigning form.

6.2 Submit to dormitory ruler.

6.3 Student shall return dormitory ID card and key to dormitory ruler; if student lost a key, it

will be 50 baht charge

6.4 Student has to clean the room. If the room is not cleaned, student has to pay

the cleaning charge for 200 baht/room

1. การเขา – ออกหอพก

1.1 หอพกเปดเวลา 06.00 น. และปดเวลา 22.30 น.

1.2 กรณนกศกษากลบเขาหอพกหลงเวลา 22.30 น. เจาหนาทหอพกจะด าเนนการจดชอบนทกไว

และหากนกศกษากลบเขาหอพกลาชาเกน 3 ครง/ภาคการศกษา งานหอพกนกศกษาจะท า

หนงสอแจงถงผปกครองของนกศกษาใหทราบตอไป

1.3 การเขาหอพกใหนกศกษายนบตรประจ าตวนกศกษาหอพกตอพนกงานรกษาความปลอดภย

ประจ าอาคารกอนเขาหอพก และเมอจะออกจากหอพกตองน าบตรประจ าตวนกศกษาหอพกไป

ดวยทกครง

2. การมาเยยมนกศกษาหอพก

2.1 ใหเยยมไดเฉพาะสถานทททางมหาวทยาลยไดจดไวใหเทานน

2.2 หามบคคลภายนอกขนบนอาคารหอพกโดยเดดขาด เวนแตจะไดรบอนญาตจากเจาหนาท

หอพกเปนกรณ ๆ ไป

3. หามมใหนกศกษากระท าผดระเบยบวนยนกศกษาหรอกอความร าคาญแกผทอยบรเวณใกลเคยง

และหองใกลเคยง โดยเดดขาด ดงน

3.1 หามเลนการพนนทกชนดโดยเดดขาด

3.2 หามน า / ดมสรา เสพสงเสพตด ของมนเมาทกชนด เขามาในหอพกโดยเดดขาด

3.3 หามน าอาวธ วตถระเบด เชอเพลง เชอปะท ประทด หรออน ๆ ทมลกษณะเชนเดยวกนอนอาจ

กอใหเกดอนตราย อคคภย หรอเกดอนตราย ตลอดจนกอใหเกดความตนตระหนกแกผอนเขา

มาในหอพกโดยเดดขาด

3.4 หามน าสตวทกชนดเขามาในบรเวณหอพก หรอ หองพก โดยเดดขาด

3.5 หามสงเสยงดงหรอกระท าการใด ๆ อนเปนการรบกวนผพกอาศยอนโดยเดดขาด

4. หามน าเครองมอ เครองใชไฟฟา และอปกรณเครองใชใดซงไมไดรบอนญาตใหใชตามประกาศของหอพก

เขาไปใชในหอพกหรอในหองพกโดยเดดขาด เชน โทรทศน กระทะไฟฟา ไมโครเวฟ เครองปงขนมปง

เปนตน

5. เครองใชไฟฟาทสามารถน าเขาหอพก ไดแก วทย (ไมใชเครองเสยง) พดลม ไดรเปาผม ทหนบผม

คอมพวเตอร เครองพมพคอมพวเตอร และเตารด นอกเหนอจากนใหสอบถามทเจาหนาทกอนน า

ข นหอพก หากตรวจพบในภายหลงวาเปนเครองใชทไมไดรบอนญาต จะท าการยดเครองใชไฟฟา

11. หามจดงานเลยงสงสรรค งานรนเรงใด ๆ โดยไมไดรบอนญาตจากมหาวทยาลยและผปกครอง

12. หากนกศกษาไมปฏบตตามขอบงคบ ขอปฏบต ระเบยบ และหนาทของนกศกษาหอพกมหาวทยาลย

แมฟาหลวง มหาวทยาลยจะด าเนนการลงโทษตามระเบยบมหาวทยาลย แมฟาหลวง วาดวยวนย

ขอควรทราบของนกศกษาหอพก

1. การใหค าปรกษาและการตดตอกบเจาหนาทของงานหอพกนกศกษา

1.1 ในวนท าการปกตสามารถตดตอกบผปกครองหอพกหรอผชวยผปกครองหอพก ไดตลอด

24 ชวโมง ทส านกงานของแตละหอพกหรอหองพกของผปกครอง/ผชวยผปกครองหอพก

หรอทางโทรศพทมอถอ ซงสามารถดเบอรโทรศพทไดทปายตดประกาศหนาหอพก

1.2 ในวนเสาร – อาทตย และวนหยดนกขตฤกษ สามารถตดตอเจาหนาทเวรไดทส านกงาน

หอพก 3 แหง คอ ส านกงานหอพก F2 โทรศพท 0-5391-7105-6

2. กรณนกศกษาเจบปวย

2.1 กรณเจบปวยเพยงเลกนอยใหตดตอขอรบยาไดทผปกครองหอพก

2.2 กรณเจบปวยฉกเฉนใหตดตอผปกครองหอพกหรอผชวยผปกครองหอพก แตหากไมสามารถ

ตดตอไดใหตดตอเจาหนาทเวรทส านกงานหอพกทง 3 แหงดงกลาวขางตน

3. การค านวณคาไฟฟารายเดอน ตามขนตอนดงน

3.1 สวนอาคารสถานทจะเปนผบนทกจ านวนหนวยมเตอรทแตละหองพกใชตามมเตอรเปนประจ า

ทก ๆ วนสนเดอน

3.2 ส านกงานจดการทรพยสนและรายไดด าเนนการค านวณคาไฟฟาตามจ านวนหนวยทใชใน

อตราหนวยละ 5 บาท

3.3 ส านกงานจดการทรพยสนและรายไดด าเนนการตงหนคาไฟฟาแตละเดอนเขาระบบฐานขอมล

ของนกศกษา แลวจดท าใบแจงหนคาไฟฟารายเดอนเพอแจงใหนกศกษาทกหองทราบ

3.4 นกศกษาช าระเงนคาไฟฟาทกวนท 7 ของเดอน ทสวนการเงนและบญช อาคาร

4. การยายหองพก / หอพก

4.1 กรอกแบบฟอรมค ารองหอยายหองพก/ หอพก

4.2 ยนใบค ารองแกผปกครองหอพกเดมของตนเองเพอพจารณาอนมต

4.3 หากไดรบการอนมตแลวจงจะสามารถยายหองพก/หอพกได และหามนกศกษาท าการยาย

หองพก/หอพกกอนไดรบอนญาตโดยเดดขาด

5. การแจงซอมแซมครภณฑภายในหอพกและหองพก

ใหแจงการช ารดเสยหายทผปกครองหอพกของนนๆ โดย

5.1 หากครภณฑภายในหองพกของนกศกษาเสยหาย อนเกดมาจากการเสอมสภาพเปนเหตใหเกด

การช ารด มหาวทยาลยจะท าการซอมแซมใหโดยไมคดคาใชจายใด ๆ

5.2 หากครภณฑภายในหองพกของนกศกษาเสยหาย อนเกดมาจากการกระท าของนกศกษา

มหาวทยาลยจะท าการเรยกเกบคาเสยหายตามราคาจรงของวสด/ครภณฑทเสย

5.3 นกศกษาหอพกมหนาทตองชวยกนดแลรกษาครภณฑ ทงของตนเองและทเปนสวนกลาง

ของหอพก หากพบการช ารดเสยหาย ใหแจงผปกครองหอพกเพอท าการซอมแซมตอไป

6. การลาออกจากหอพก

6.1 กรอกแบบฟอรมค ารองขอลาออกจากหอพกนกศกษา

6.2 ยนค ารองขอลาออกจากหอพกตอผปกครองหอพกของตนและตองไดรบอนมต จงจะถอวา

การลาออกนนสมบรณ

6.3 นกศกษาตองคนบตรประจ าตวนกศกษาหอพกและกญแจหอพกทผปกครองหอพกของทาน

และหากนกศกษาไมน ากญแจมาคน จะเรยกเกบคากญแจ จ านวน 50 บาท/กญแจ 1 ดอก

6.4 ในกรณนกศกษาไมท าความสะอาดหองพก มหาวทยาลยจะด าเนนการเกบคาท าความสะอาด

Living and Learning Support Center supports and helps students to be able to learn and improve

themselves independently. The center also provides a counseling service for students throughout their

studies, so as to prepare them to deal with their educational challenges and become fully qualified

graduates.

The Center’s Main Responsibilities

1. To counsel students regarding their academic challenges and campus life.

2. To follow up and evaluate in counseling and assistance.

3. To arrange activities for students to cope with academic challenges and campus life.

4. To liaise with other student-support divisions of the university

To listen to students’ problems, give them advice and assist students who have problems;

furthermore, to arrange various activities for their academic and campus life.

The center:

- counsels students regarding their university education.

- arranges academic activities for students such as pre-exam tutorials.

- provides useful information such as further study information, and publishes a monthly

mental health e-bulletin “R-romdee” through the center’s website, facebook and e-mail.

- counsels students regarding all aspects of their campus life, for example, self-adjustment,
