Our essential purpose in issuing the ITF “MESSAGE TO SEAFARERS”booklet is to inform seafarers where you can obtain assistance froman ITF Inspector.

Each entry lists the Country and Port, Inspector’s name andInspector’s contact details including:

� Mobile and office telephone numbers� Facsimile number� Email address

We have also included:

� The telephone number of the ITF Seafarers Support Line, providinga direct link to the ITF Maritime Operations Centre in London

� The name and contact details of ITF affiliated maritime labourunions, which may be contacted in emergencies in countries wherean ITF Inspector is not located

� Details of the ITF website where you can obtain more informationabout the ITF generally, and our general email address

Whichever way you choose to contact us, particularly in relation to aclaim/complaint for example, please remember to have the followinginformation:

� The name of the vessel� The vessel’s IMO number� The Flag state under which the vessel is registered (e.g. Panama)� The location of the vessel (e.g. Seattle, pier 19)� Details of your claim/complaint� Number of crew onboard

Wherever possible, contact the ITF Inspector before the vessel arrivesinto port to enable the Inspector to be better prepared to assist you.

AVISO IMPORTANTE

Sea cual fuere la forma en que decida ponerse en contacto connosotros –particularmente, cuando se trate de una reclamación/queja, por ejemplo–, recuerde que deberá proporcionar la siguienteinformación:

Mensahe sa mga marino
