a Look at the painting and read the description.Find at least:

The name of the painting is Nighthawks: Boulevardof Broken Dreams. It’s by an Austrian paintercalled Gottfried Helnwein. It shows a scene in adiner in the USA during the 1950s. Outside, thestreet is dark and empty. Inside, three people aresitting at the counter, a woman and two men. A waiter is standing behind the counter. The manin the middle of the picture is wearing a blue suitand tie. He doesn’t look very happy. The woman onthe right is laughing and talking to the man nextto her, but he isn’t listening.

The four people in the picture are all famousAmerican stars from the 20th century. The man inthe blue suit is the actor Humphrey Bogart. Bogartwas born in New York. At first, he acted in thetheatre, but for many years he wasn’t successful.Then he started working for the Warner film studioand, at the age of 40, he finally became a star. Hemade more than thirty films. Two of his mostfamous films were The African Queen andCasablanca. Bogart died in his sleep at his home in Hollywood in 1957.
