2 Summer 2018 | The Messenger | Gabriel Group

BEGINNING IN JANUARY OF 2016, Gabriel Group officially took over the acquisition efforts for The National Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Fast forward two and a half years, and the hard work spent on the stewardship of new donors has culminated in outstanding results that smashed projected numbers as well as tremendously expanded their donor base.

Throughout 2017 and 2018, Gabriel Group worked with St. Vincent de Paul to produce their Christmas and Lenten Appeals and also identified acquisition lists that resulted in an additional 2,984 new donors who boasted an average gift of $56.47. In addition, St. Vincent de Paul also implemented an internal cultivation effort that included two email touchpoints to individuals after they gave for the very first time and a third email asking for their second gift.

This multichannel approach has proven to bring in a significantly higher response rate from new contributors than that of overall donors.

Take a look below to check out the most recent results from St. Vincent de Paul’s latest mailings to see the incredible effect this endeavor has had on their mission to end poverty.

WITH DAVE HAWKINS

CEO

Winged WordsFriend,

One of our favorite things at Gabriel Group is getting the opportunity to have real, meaningful conversations with the people and organizations that matter most when it comes to enacting positive change in the world. Yes, that means you.

Sitting down to discuss your challenges and roadblocks — but more importantly, your hopes and dreams — is where our passion lies. And from there, we work to build marketing campaigns that not only increase your revenue, but support your vision for the future.

So on that note, take this as your official invitation to come and meet with us at Gabriel Group. We would be thrilled to show you around our office and production facility in St. Louis, take you out to lunch and maybe even take in a Cardinals game if you’re up for it. If a trip to the land of toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake seems a little too daunting (or fattening), please consider meeting us at one of the upcoming conferences listed below. The lunch and baseball game offer still stands …

We hope to see you soon. Please don’t hesitate to RSVP directly to me at 314.743.5704 or [email protected].

BRAGGING RIGHTS

We love encouraging a nice healthy dose of competition when it comes to paying it forward! Our Lettershop Department reigned supreme for the second year in a row for our annual PIF Penny Wars Competition.

When Philanthropy and Culture MeetA charitable company that prioritizes making an effort to give back to its community is inspiring. An organization that ensures that its culture is the largest driving factor in how it does business is bold. And when the two converge? Watch out …

We like to think we’ve honed in on something pretty special here at Gabriel Group. Two of the biggest things we define ourselves by, our PAY-IT-FORWARD initiatives and our company culture, just so happen to be the things we find ourselves the most passionate about outside of serving our clients.

It’s not a coincidence that these influences find themselves hand in hand on a daily basis around our office. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Check out a sneak peek below to see just how often these two ideas come together to support not only our core values (Warrior Spirit, Fun-Loving Attitude and Servant’s Heart) but also our mission to make Gabriel Group an amazing place to work, play and make a difference. w

BRING YOUR BABY TO WORK PROGRAM

Our very first participant in GG’s Bring Your Baby To Work Program, Ava Grace, joined in on some Pay-It-Forward fun during our Cardinals Home Opener Happy Hour back in April.

VOLUNTEER HOURS

When our Pay-It-Forward organization, KidSmart, made a call for help in June, we responded. Amy, Erin, Linda, Karen, April and Anna (left to right) were just a few associates to use their company-paid volunteer hours to lend a helping hand taking inventory in their temporary warehouse.

HOLIDAY RAFFLES

We’re pretty unabashedly enthusiastic about celebrating holidays around Gabriel Group … here’s a shot (pun intended — look at all of that tequila!) of our Vice President of Information Services, Joyce Berra, flashing a smile with her prize of a Cinco de Mayo raffle basket.
