Protocol: A placebo and a cream containing 5% Unisteron Y-50 were tested in a clinical trial on 20 women volunteers (ages between 55-66) to evaluate skin’s lipid content. The creams were applied twice a day on the inside of the forearm, for 8 weeks.
Result: Unisteron Y-50 significantly increases skin lipid content after 28 days: +137% compared to placebo. After 56 day, the product maintains a continuous upward trend.

Reduction of wrinkle depth (clinical efficacy)
Protocol: A placebo and a cream containing 5% Unisteron Y-50 were tested in a clinical trial on 20 women volunteers (ages between 55-66) to evaluate skin wrinkles depth. The creams were applied twice a day on the inside of the forearms, for 4 weeks. Silicone impressions of the skin were done to measure skin relief.
Result: Unisteron Y-50 offers a significant lasting effect in terms of reduction of wrinkle depth: +37% compared to placebo, after 28 days.
