Products for Tankside Metalworking Fluid AdditionChoosing the right biocide.Formulating a metalworking fluid is as much an art as it is a science. This flow chart can serve as a good start to help you narrow down which biocides might best fit your needs. You should also consider what metals your fluid is going to be used with and if the biocide may cause staining with those metals. Additionally, you should always verify that the biocide is stable in a concentrate formula for the time period desired as biocides can react with a variety of other components in the fluid.
