Our teachers and P and C have been very busy organizing a BBQ, Easter raffles, hats for our students and the parade highlights. Come along and join us for lunch from 11am and then the parade starts at 12 noon. This is expected to be completed by 1pm. There will be photos in next week’s newsletter. Parking: Please be aware that staff vehicles and delivery trucks are only allowed to park in our school car parks. This is to support the safety of our school community. The car parks are not for entry or exit to our school grounds either. Please co-operate with us on these matters. We are very aware of issues with parking around our school, but safety on our school grounds is a high priority that we must put first. Entry to our School Grounds: If you need to come into our school for any reason that is different to drop off and pick up times, before and after school, you MUST come to our office area and let us know that you are on school grounds. This is particularly important in case we have to have a lock down or evacuation at any time. It is also important for us to know who is on site at all times so that we can manage any incidences that may occur. Bullying? No Way! Says Metford PS: Last Friday, we held a very important learning assembly to talk about bullying as part of the National Day Against Bullying program. Well done to our actors and to our students for participating so well in this activity. Regards Cathy Watt THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life from what we give.”
