METHOD STATEMENT

FOR

COLD WATER PIPE INSTALLATION AND TESTING

1. General

This method statement is to describe the intended work method and control measures for the

pipe sleeve installation which is carried out for this project.

2. Material

2.1 Material of Pipe Sleeve

Item Description

1 Ply wood minimum of thickness is 5/16 (8 mm)

4. Box up and pipe sleeve installation Procedure

4.1Setting out Survey

4.1.1 From the survey, the issued drawings will be marked up detailing all containment location and

proposed materials and equipment to be installed for approval. Actual commencement of the

installation works would be agreed with the client and main parties, which would also depend on the

working areas being made available. The installation system will be installed in accordance with the

safety policy using plan and equipment to suit the application.

4.2 Check Location of working areas.

4.2.1 The working area will be cleared and being made available.

4.3 Installation

4.3.1 Project specification, all works/operations will be carried out in accordance with all proven methods

and industry standards.

4.3.2 On completion of the installation, all of the location and position will be followed in the referential

drawing

4.4 Inspection

4.4.1 Materials shall supply to the Consulting Engineer's for his approval certificates from the

manufacturer, showing that the materials have been tested according to the relevant specification or

standard.

4.4.2 The Project Engineer and supervisor will make the visual inspection of the location and position also

others. Then request to the Consulting Engineer's inspector to inspected and approved. TheInspection must continuity in accordance with Approved M&E inspection check list to ensure that all

sleeves or box up were immovable. And work properly.

4.4.3 If inspection or tests show defects, such defective work or material shall be replaced and

5. Quality Assurance

All works will conform to the standards set out. Material on site approval by DEC. the work proced

corresponds with visual method of statement. The proposed inspection and test plans (ITP) are shown
