    1.0. GENERAL OBJECTIVE

    2.0. SCOPE OF WORKS SPECIFICATION

    1. OBJECTIVE

    • Take concrete cube samples for quantity specified in the contract document.

    •  Place concrete on designated locations using concrete pumps and 5 or crane assisted

     SEALING 

     A double application of curing compound is required before the barrier is poured if thebarrier is placed next to a concrete pa"ement or base. All exposed surfaces of the concretemedian barrier to be sealed with a clear sealer.

     8efore application of the sealer, the surface of the median barrier to be thoroughly cleaned by

     sandblasting. inal cleaning is done with compressed air free of water, grease, or other 

     foreign substances.

     REFLECTORI8ATION 

     All concrete median barriers to be reflectorized with wide angle reflectors as indicated on the

     plans. These reflectors are glued to the barrier with a mastic.

     DELINEAT I ON concrete barriers are delineated with type 4 construction warning lights and wide angle

    reflectors as indicated on the drawing.

    ;ide angle reflectors used on temporary barriers are white on the right side of traffic and 

     yellow on the left side.
