    Introduction to methodological foundation

To use best practices methodology has almost just positive effect to all stages of the project.

Benchmarking is a systematic process used for identifying and implementing best or better

practices appropriate application of the methodology may occur sustainable development.

Nevertheless it is worth considering which adoption method needs to be used by theorganization to achieve the best result.

Best practices can be adopted by their nature, specificities of regional location, social,

economical or natural environment in different ways.

Based on the methodology of reference:

    - directly or indirectly,

    based on expansivity:

    - totally, on the level of system

    - partially, on the level of system stages of processes

    - in terms of certain elements.

Dissemination and awareness of best practices can take place through verbal or written

communication. In terms of adaptability verbal communication is preferable, however in case

of written communication report-style narration is more suitable for further reflection as a fact

description because interviewers attitude also can be identified.

A method for adapting best practice by adaption organization is using it as a benchmark or

external standard to achieve the same level of appropriate operation internally. This method

can be a pulling power to install best practices into the organizations operational processes.

Sustainability is ensured by continuous monitoring and tracking of the adopted factors

development. Thereby the organization can accomplish such performance level and best

practice makes the organization adopted continuously and achieves a better operation as the

    benchmark institution.

To organize properly study visit trips it is necessary to request possibility of a pre-contact

visit from prominent experts of visited destination(s). Not just individual organization but

coordination of organization and making contact by a local tourism or rural development

institution or association is also possible. It is advisable to take advantage of personal or

organizational networks and other manifestations of cohesion.

The preparation of participants for travelling is extremely important in the preparation stage

of study trip by gathering and processing existing information. A detailed methodologicalscheme is also requested to prepare study trip report and later compile a collection of essays,

which defines by its factors the process of assessment, questions to ask and answer, method of

    record and guides recording.

In all cases it is advised to summarize the following circumstances beyond factors of study

    trip report:

    - most important strengths of best practices

    - possible weaknesses of best practices

    - the consequences in terms of the adaptability, namely the limiting and supporting

    factors.

By considering all factors mentioned above we can adopt best practices successfully.
