Kilcoy Hospital is a 30-bed acute public hospital facility providing in-patient general medicine, emergency care, allied health and clinical support services. The hospital has expanded its clinical services to include chemotherapy and a palliative care bed in a hospice environment. it facilitates transfers to appropriate facilities when required.

Outreach services are provided in the areas of Diabetes Education, Antenatal and postnatal Shared Care, and Adult Mental Health.

The prince Charles Hospital is 543 bed referral hospital located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, with a selective specialty role incorporating inpatient and outpatient services.

There are approximately 2500 admissions per month, of which 50% are elective. The general intensive care unit has 12 beds, and in addition there is a 9 bed cardiac surgical post-op unit with 1600 admissions per year.
