A single Monarch must travel 5,000 miles to arrive at the mountain-top resting ground in the Angangueo region of Mexico. Its great-grandchild (so to speak) will be the next in the family to fly 5,000 miles back to the US and Canada. How do they know when and where to go, which generation stays put, and which undertakes this extraordinary journey? Suzanne will tell (and show) you the Monarch mysteries we’ve unspooled and which ones scientists have yet to solve. So knowledgeable and whip-smart, if Suzanne is interested in a topic, we will be too!
