A globalised world leads to international disputes. And international disputes are resolved before one forum only: arbitration. If you are a practitioner who wants to specialise in international arbitration, you should ask yourself whether you are knowledgeable about international procedural law, whether you have sharp communication and language skills and whether you have a good sense of the financials underlying a dispute. In short: do you speak international arbitration?
IASC-Mexico is a one-week course which provides the necessary training to become a future arbitration game player. The course is unique because it gives you first-hand knowledge from highly regarded professionals (arbitrators, lawyers, experts, academics and institutions) who will share their experience and teach you what you cannot learn from handbooks. It will also walk you through all stages of the arbitral procedure through a mock case. On top of it, there will also be time for networking at social events.
The programme has been designed by young practitioners for young practitioners and is impregnated of fresh and dynamic character.
We are confident that by the end of this course you will leave with a good grasp of the nuts and bolts of international arbitration.
Looking forward to seeing you in Mexico City this June.
