Deep ruby in color, with dark ripe cherries on the palate and hints of violet, vanilla, and roasted coffee, this alluring rosso is cultivated from the vines of the renowned Chianti zone of Colli Senesi. Elegant by nature while complex in structure, Mia Chiara expresses the characteristic flavors of the Sangiovese grape from the ancient town of Montepulciano in the southern Tuscan province of Siena. Mia Chiara – a term of endearment meaning my beloved – evokes a strong emotional connection to the richness and tradition of the timeless Chianti region
With grapes from the Pietrose Montepulciano region, cultivated on southwest facing aspects and vines trained on the spurred cordon system, the fruit of Mia Chiara is manually selected and fermented 10-15 days at controlled temperatures. Malolactic
fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and the wine is further matured in stainless steel for 6 months before bottling.
