My Journey
• I came to Texas because, I needed better crops, and more water so I can support my farm.
• I came on the Lively ship, that was a okay ride but long.
My Arrival
• I ended up with 1,860 acres to rome around and to work with.
• I hope that this will be a good move, to come to Texas.
1822
• I'm glad I got there a little late because the
winter was harsh.
• I ended up with $925.67 to spend on the
family and I.
1823
• I headed up to town to visit the lock smith, he told me that the Lively sank.
• The Mexicans made It hard to export cotton to the markets, they added tax money to it.
1823
• It was a mild winter, so the cattle had a pretty good year.
• Lumber was okay some stuff got built but not a lot.
• I ended up with more then last year, I got $1,501.34 to spend.
1824
• The Mexicans were being friendly finally, we sold them some cotton.
• We had lot more lumber coming in, so more stuff was built.
• The cattle had a great year, lots of meat being produced.

• My family and I are deciding to move or not, but we don’t know.
• I ended up with $3,026 I had a really good year, there for a couple weeks I thought I wasn't going to make it.
My Town
• I ended up in San Felipe Texas.
• Its nice there but I don’t have as much land.
• I hope this next year will be great.
My Conclusion
• I was pretty successful, I ended up with $3,026.
• I live in San Felipe with my family and farm.
• I want to stay cause its pretty, perfect dirt, and lots of water.
