Kansas Field Trial Clubs Association announces nominations open for KANSAS FIELD TRIAL HALL OF FAME We are accepting nominations through April 30, 2014, for inductees (people and dogs) into the Kansas Field Trial Hall of Fame. Blank nominating forms and a complete list of criteria can be seen at www.kftca.org or by calling Kansas Association Secretary Janice Merritt at (785) 249-0224. Revised bylaws can be obtained by emailing Paul Roederer at [email protected]. The inductees (a maximum of 2 people and 2 dogs) will be inducted at the Kansas Association Summer Meeting in Emporia, KS, on June 28, 2014. Any person who lived and field trialed in Kansas for a minimum of 5 years would be eligible for inclusion and can be living or deceased. Dogs would have to meet a series of tests to determine their Kansas status. Dogs that have been kenneled outside of Kansas, but competed HEAVILY in Kansas, may be eligible for voting and inclusion. Please see the aforementioned bylaws if you have any questions. Dogs must be deceased. We encourage nomination submissions from within and outside Kansas. We do encourage you to use a standard nomination form to assure that the election committee will have ample and standardized information on each nominee. Multiple nominations can be submitted by a single person but do your homework! Please send a hard copy of your standard nomination forms to: PAUL ROEDERER, 11712 S. Yoder Rd., Haven, KS 67543 After the nomination time period, the Board of Directors of the Kansas Field Trial Hall of Fame will narrow nominations received from the public to a maximum of 10 people and 10 dogs for submission to the full election committee. FIELD TRIAL REMINDERTrial dates that have been scheduled and confirmed for the season maybe submitted for inclusion in the Fixtures column to provide an earlynotice of the club’s trial before the formal announcement appears. Tocomply with the minimum ad requirements, copy should be submittedto the American Field at least 45 days before the start of a trial.
