The automotive industry in India is one of the larger markets in the world

and had previously been one of the fastest growing globally, but is now

seeing flat or negative growth rates.

India's passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturing industry is

the sixth largest in the world, with an annual production of more than 3.9

million units in 2011.

famous micro car models. India has also started manufacturing electric

micro cars. The G Wiz electric car manufactured by REVA (Mahindra Reva

Electric Vehicles Private Limited) has garnered significant popularity among

the Indian customers. REVA is planning to export it to the U.S. in the near

future.

Indian vehicle manufacturers like Sunrise Auto Industries Ltd. and REVA

My Conclusion

India will be coming up as a massive car market in the near future

because of its fast economic development and high population.

Therefore, the country is a very good market for micro cars. These

cars are ideal for its narrow and crowded roads in comparison to

bigger vehicles.
