• Also many problems with rapid growth of EV sector

EV market could drive up rather than reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Chinese government plan highlights need for hydrogen and FCs

New 5 year plan looking for expansion in HFC sector

• Ballard opens joint venture for FC production

• Several cities instigate FC bus projects

This triggered a global search for hydrogen and fuel cell vehicle providers

• Multiple visits to Microcab from Chinese groups

• Scale of potential is huge

• Managing growth on that scale requires detailed road map and timeplan

• Chinese regions operate independently with little connection to each other

• Similar problems to the rapid growth in EV may arise with HFC sector
