STUDENT SAFETY: Please help us keep your child safe. Remind your child to use the areas designated as crosswalks, listen to the crossing guards, and not walk across the parking lots. We are very limited in parking space and parents and students cutting through the parking lots creates a dangerous situation as teachers are trying to park. In addition, students are not allowed in the playground (oley) after hours. We appreciate your cooperation! STAAR: Our 4th and 5th graders will be taking the STAAR state tests on March 28 and 29. Fourth grade students will take the WRITING exam and 5th grade MATH and READING. Our teachers work hard every day to provide students with the best quality education. They are dedicated and committed to student success. Students have also been working exceptionally hard. Please encourage your children to do their very best and use the strategies that they have learned!

YEARBOOKS Coming in May! Save memories of the 2016-17 school year by ordering a soft bound,

color yearbook. Order yours for $25 through April 15, 2017. After this date the price will be $30.

PRICE’S MILK CAPS: Sageland is still collecting Price’s Milk Caps to help with student incentives. Please continue to send your caps with your child. The class with the most caps at the end of this semester will receive a reward. Good luck to everyone!

SEGURIDAD DEL ESTUDIANTE: Por favor, ayúdenos a mantener a su hijo seguro. Recuérdele a su hijo que use las áreas designadas como pasos de peatones, escuche a los guardias de cruce y no caminen por los estacionamientos. Padres y estudiantes que cortan a través de los estacionamientos crean una situación peligrosa para los maestros que están intentando estacionarse. Además, los estudiantes no están permitidos en el patio de recreo (oley) después de horas. ¡Apreciamos su cooperación!

STAAR: Nuestros estudiantes de 4to y 5to tomaran las pruebas estatales STAAR el 28 y el 29 de marzo. Los estudiantes de 4to tomarán el exámen de ESCRITURA y los de 5to de MATEMÁTICAS y LECTURA. Diariamente nuestros maestros proveen a los estudiantes la mejor calidad de aprendizaje. Ellos son muy dedicados y se comprometen al éxito escolar de los estudiantes. Favor de motivar a sus hijos para que pongan mucho empeño y que usen las estrategias que han aprendido. !BUENA SUERTE A TODOS!

YEARBOOKS ¡Vienen en mayo! Guarde los recuerdos del año escolar 2016-17 con un anuario

impreso a color. Ordene uno por $25 hasta el 15 de abril de 2017. Después de esta fecha el

precio será $30.

Celebre el cumpleaños de su hijo/hija ocupando al grupo de Kids Co. para que preparen la fiesta de

cumpleaños de su pequeño. Paquete de cumpleaños de $20 incluye la preparación, pastelitos para su

hijo/hija y para sus compañeros, jugo para los participantes, canto de cumpleaños y limpieza. Favor

de llamar al 434-2900 si le interesa ordenar el paquete de cumpleaños.
