Supply and installation/ Construction of: • Reservoirs (4 or 5 per site)• Main Pumping Station with office building,

control room • Ancillary pumping station• Pipelines, valves, fittings, cable ducts,

chambers.• Workshop• Guard Houses• Chlorination building• Water testing facilities• Electricity sub-stations, transformer

buildings, generator buildings,• Pumps, motors, cables, control panels,

generators, transformers, switchgear, surge vessels, chlorine storage and dosing equipment, fuel tanks, pumping station pipework, lifting equipment, SCADA system.

ITT and Bid Process

Return date : 12 Noon, 5th June 2014Contract Duration : 36 months with milestones, plus 2 year warranty period

• IT1 : Tenderers may submit offers for one or more of the five Primary Reservoir and Pumping Station (PRPS) Packages.

• IT 9 : Tender Queries : Hard and Soft Copy Technical Affairs, 19th floor, Faxed copy only to GTC

• IT 16: Evaluation Queries : Required to submit (technical proposal)

• IT14 : Tender Bond : Qrs. 20,000, 000.00 and the number of Tender Bonds submitted shall be equal to the number of packages that the Tenderer considers it can undertake through contract or contracts with Kahramaa.

• IT16 : Only requires partial submission of issued appendices, not all.

Interface with other Contracts

Contractors shall:• Have proper Health, Safety and Welfare

Policies• Report monthly to agreed site safety KPIs. • Comply with international standards on

Human Rights and Laborers Working Rights• Regularly benchmark the Welfare standards

of the Workers• CCTV monitoring on the sites

Safety is a duty on every contractor & every individual who is involved in construction work.

To achieve optimum Quality, Contractors must provide : • Quality Assurance• Quality Control• Quality Management Systems and Plans
