SECTION1. The United States Federal Government will immediately terminate the2

Diversity Immigrant Visa Program and replace it with a merit-based3

system that offers visas to legal immigrants that demonstrate a desire4

andcapabilitytoimproveAmericansociety.5

SECTION2. TheDiversityImmigrantVisaProgramisaprogramthatrandomlyselects6

50,000immigrationapplicantstoapplyforexpeditedimmigrationvisas.7

SECTION3. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Department8

(USCIS)willoverseetheimplementationofthisbill.9

A. TheUSCISwill develop a point based system that awards points to10

immigration visa applicants based on qualities including (but not11

limited to) education, employment experience, age, employment12

sector,andinvestmentsintheUnitedStates.13

B. Thesystemwill create two tiers,one forhigh-skilled laborpositions14

and the other for low tomedium-skilled labor positions in order to15

ensurethatallareasoftheUSeconomicsector’sneedsaremet.16

C. Thissystemwillalsoterminatefamily-sponsoredimmigrationvisas.17

D. 150,000 immigration visas a year will be issued and will fluctuate18

dependingonthestateoftheeconomy,perUSCISdiscretion.19

ABilltoLimit the Use of Opioids

BEITENACTEDBYTHECONGRESSHEREASSEMBLEDTHAT:1

SECTION1. Prescriptions for opioids written for first-time users 18 or older 2

shall not exceed the appropriate dosage for a 7- day period.3

SECTION2. Prescriptions for opioids written for any minor shall not exceed 4

the appropriate dosage for a 7-day period.5

SECTION3.“Opioids” shall be defined as an opium-like compound that bind to 6

one or more of the three opioid receptors of the body. Physicians 7

must be aware of a patient’s history of opioid usage as well as any 8

family history of addiction before ordering a refill for their 9

patient. 10

SECTION4. This bill shall be implemented immediately.11

SECTION5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null 12

and void.13

SECTION1. AllcorporationssellingtechnologicalitemsintheUnitedStatesshall2

makeavailabletoconsumersdetailedinstructionsonhowtorepair,3

replace,orobtainatfaircost,partswhicharedesignedtowearoutor4

whichareknowntohavealimitedlifespan.5

SECTION2. Itemscoveredundersection1mayinclude,butarenotlimitedto,6

cellularphonebatteriesandscreens,computerbatteriesandscreens,7

softwarenecessarytoallowtherepairofautomobilesandtractors,8

proprietarysoftwareforuseoncomputers,tablets,andcellularphones,9

andotheritemswhichareconsideredtohaveamaximumlifespan.10

SECTION3. TheFederalTradeCommissionshalloverseeimplementationofthis11

regulation,andshalltakeresponsibilityforitsenforcement12

SECTION4. Thisshalltakeeffectsixmonthsafterpassage.13

SECTION5. Alllawsinconflictwiththislegislationareherebydeclarednullandvoid.14

SECTION2. AllemployeeswhohavereachedeligibilityforMedicareshallbeplacedin6

theMedicarehealthcaresystemandwillnolongerbecoveredbythe7

currentUSPShealthcareplan.Thoseemployeesmaychoosetopurchase8

supplementalinsurancethroughthefederalhealthcareinsurance9

exchange.10

SECTION3. ThePostmasteroftheUnitedStatesshallberesponsibleforoverseeing11

thechangesasoutlinedinSections1and2.Allmoniessavedasaresult12

ofthesechangesshallbeusedtoreducethepriceofpostage.13

SECTION1. TheDepartmentofEducationwillincreasetheamountoffunding2

availableforCareerandTechnicalEducation(CTE)grantsbyanamount3

of$1billion.Suchgrantswillbeprovidedtostatestoprovide4

opportunitiesinCTEeducation,asdefinedbytheDepartmentof5

Education.Statesshallbeallottedfundingbaseduponthenumberof6

studentswhosuccessfullycompleteandearncreditinatleastoneCTE7

courseduringgrades6-12.8

SECTION2. Eligibilityforthegrantsshallbedeterminedbythepercentageofschools9

withinthestatewhichofferatleastthreeopportunitiesforstudentsto10

takeCTEcoursesduringtheirtimeattheschool.Atnopointshallagrant11

beprovidedtoastateinwhichfewerthan75%ofschoolsofferthree12

opportunities.13

SECTION3. TheDepartmentofEducationshalloverseethedistributionofthe14

funding.Atnopointwillastatebesubjecttopenaltiesrelatedtostudent15

performancerelativetostateofnationalstandardsinCTEcourses.16
