• The % of K-2 students reading on or above grade level on multiple measures will increase to 75%

• The % of 3-8 students meeting standard on both reading and math STAAR will increase to 75%

• The 4 year graduation rate will increase to 95% for the Class of 2020

• Perform at the “Accomplished” or “Distinguished” level on the School Performance Framework (SPF)

• Meet each Domain in the state accountability system • Raise the attendance rate by 2% over prior year or maintain

over 96%

I N S T R U C T I O N A L

****ALL MEANS ALL**** The administration will have a balanced approach of monitoring the use of IFVs, CFVs, and formal and informal observations in all classes (including all special programs) to average 5 visits per week per administrator to look for evidence of:

• Teacher effectiveness to include lesson planning and meaningful work reflecting the standards

• Utilization of targeted resources and strategies • Use of data to determine best practices • Differentiated instruction based on data analysis of student

progress and application of the RTI Pyramid of Support to provide targeted and timely interventions

• Students are engaged and participating in support of their own learning

• Know and use the MISD instructional process

B E H A V I O R A L

• Implement and maintain CHAMPS/DSC as the district and campus model for sustaining a safe and welcoming environment so that all students learn.

• Establish a campus behavioral team to design and implement an RTI tiered system of support addressing behavior

• Expect STOIC as teacher behavior to maintain a positive environment:

• S = Structure • T = Teach • O = Observe • I = Interact positively • C = Correct fluently

• Monitor data and adjust to provide an appropriate learning environment

• Develop meaningful relationships with students, parents and staff

• Implement Restorative Practices

Ensure compliance with Texas Education Code, appropriate State Educator Standards, Texas Educator Code of Ethics, Board Policies, District Administrative Regulations, and all laws pertaining to your school.

Ensure weekly collaborative team time is occurring on all grade levels/content areas, inclusive of special programs. You will be looking for evidence of the following:

• PLC members are involved and actively engaged in theinstructional process

• There is a formal written agenda including roles andnorms focused on one or more of the four critical questions

• Minutes, artifacts, learning targets, data protocols, etc.• Teams have collaboratively developed and analyzed

common formative assessments

• Ensure that optimal customer service is provided by allstaff members (professional and support)

• Be on time for meetings, be actively involved and voiceyour recommendations, opinions, and concerns

• Effectively communicate and confront difficult issues for the betterment of students, staff and district

• Present and conduct yourself in a professional manner that exemplifies yourself as a role model for students,staff and community
