How is your research going?So far I have found quite a bit of information. One of my sources gave a lot of information that I want to use in my paper. The other resources gave me a lot of opinions of others. Finding information about my topic was easy. I am opinionated about my topic so I chose sources that did not directly give me the answers to my question so that way I would not be swayed to go in one direction versus the other.

What questions have you answered?Coming into this project I had no idea what I wanted to write about. So the first question I answered was what am I doing. I was able to choose a topic simply by thinking about things that affect my everyday life. Even though this may make me opinionated it also makes me passionate to write about it. I do not like to write so being passionate about a topic was a must for me to be able to be successful in this class. The other questions I answered were what data I was going to use to back up my topic. The research we did help me answer this question with ease.

What questions still remain? I still have to find a time line to narrow my research down too. My topic is Do women of today still feel the job sexism of yesterday? I need to determine what range of time I want to consider yesterday. I also need to figure out how I am going to tie my information into my paper without making in sound like a research paper. I am not sure how I am going to be able to do this. What has surprised you?Going into this topic I did not know much about it. I picked this topic because I am a woman in a male dominated major. I did not think that I cared much about this topic but after doing research I found that I was very passionate about this topic.

Where are you struggling still? I am use to writing research papers and it is part of my major. I write more research papers than I text so I it is hard for me to stray away from writing this way.

Whats your plan for moving forward?Because I write in a research way I think I will take all of my information from my sources and write about them. After I do this I will take pieces of this information and tie my own opinion into the paper. There isnt any other way I can think of that will help me write this in a non-research way.
