For 21 October, you will be interviewing one of the women from one of the films

that we have so far viewed:

Manuela Saenz, Camila OGorman, Cecilia or Sor Juana Ins de la Cruz.

This will be your mid-term project.

You should present the material in the form of questions and answers, following

the guidelines on the following page. (Those of you in Spanish 311 will of course

conduct the interview en espaol.)

Your grade will be determined by:

the appropriateness of your questions and their relevance to the woman

and her life

by the answers that she gives (the correctness, logic and historical

accuracy)

by the evidence that youve done the appropriate background research and

preparation

by the clarity and correctness of your writing

The entire interview, from opening greeting to thank you and farewell, should be

about 3 pages long, double spaced, 1 margins, 12 pt. type.

I will collect the interviews on the 21 st but we will also discuss them in class.

For tonights film ( Madeinusa ) you should email to me a 75 word opinionated,

ranting summary or critique between now and next Monday.

After discussing the interviews on the 21 st we will be watching a Mexican horror

film, either about La llorona (The Crying Woman) or las luchadoras (Mexican

women wrestlers.)
