American Shorthorn Association Genetic Defect Disclaimer: Unless ananimal is listed on the American Shorthorn Association “genetic defectstatus list”, the American Shorthorn Association makes no representationof any kind as to whether or not the animal has a genetic defect.

Terms And Conditions: Cattle sell per the terms and conditions of theAmerican Shorthorn Association. Announcements from the auction blockon sale day will take precedence over the information printed in thiscatalog. The terms of payment are cash or good check (with properidentification, i.e. drivers license), as well as Visa or Mastercard, madepayable to the sale clerks. If you choose to use a credit card, you will incura 3% service charge which will be applied to the total sale cost (thus a$1,000 heifer will cost you $1,030). No cattle will be loaded untilapproved by the sale clerks.

Health: Each animal selling will be accompanied with a state approvedhealth certificate from its state of origin for interstate travel. Buyers shouldmake themselves aware of the health requirements for their respectivestates. Bred females have been pregnancy checked safe by a licensedveterinarian. Updated breeding information will be available on asupplement sheet sale day. This sheet will take precedence over statementsin the sale catalog. All bulls selling are guaranteed to be breeders.

Breeding Guarantee: The Suggested Breeding Guarantee as endorsed by theAmerican Shorthorn Association will be followed.

Registration And Transfer: All animals sell with completed pedigrees orapplications for registration in the hands of the sale manager. Please leaveall transfer information with the sale clerks at the completion of the sale.

Livestock Transportation: No cattle will be loaded until the completion ofthe sale. We will be happy to assist with arranging delivery of purchases toyour farm or a convenient location.

Announcements made from the auction block take precedence over allprinted material in this catalog.

Insurance will be available for your purchases at the sale through Harding &Harding Insurance Company. Contact the clerks at the time of settlementfor your insurance needs.

Liability: Each animal selling will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold.Neither the owners, employees, auctioneer, sale consultants, sale managers,Illinois Shorthorn Association, Illinois State Fairgrounds or other affiliatedpersonnel can be held responsible for any injury or loss for those attendingthe sale, but will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort ofthose attending.

Along with that successful female, this salewhile small on numbers, has produced the Reserve Champion Land of Lincoln female, Champion Shorthorn at theWest Viriginia State Fair, as well as two elite AI sires.
