Powys midwives:•Carry their own caseload of women•They are the lead professional and co-ordinate care for all women•They refer women to DGH when appropriate but continue to provide midwifery support.•As small teams they provide a 24 hour on call service. Available to all Powys women.•They work flexible hours to meet the needs of the client.
