Our goals The Mile Stone Fund Raising group is setup to help other institutes such as

SIUT or NICH gain awareness and to help fund them ourselves

It presents an opportunity for us students, to make a significant positive impact on helping the ones who are truly in need. Thus the name ‘MileStone’ which means ‘an action that leads to a significant positive change’

Our future goal is to expand the project, get more people involved, perhaps even from different schools and make MileStone more than just a fund raising group

Helping others We intend on raising funds in the school by holding different events and by

having a fund raising box for people to donate whatever money they want to give

The money would be collected and sent to institutes such as SIUT

background The real reason behind doing this is so that the money we collect is donated

to the right people

Many of the beggars that we see on the streets easily grab a lot of money doing so

People truly are the ones that are in those charity hospitals, and the best way to help them would be to raise funds

Grouping It was decided that if the MileStone group would gain too many

members than the entire group would be divided

Each group would assigned their own leader

Some of the members of the group have left due to which we’re going to decide whether we should keep it as one big group or not

CreditAnyone giving any donation to the MileStone group will be given their due credit

Names and contributions will be posted on MileStone’s facebook page

The result of the contributions will also be posted on the page

Events The MileStone group will be holding their own events in school

Game Night

Bake sales

The sole purpose of holding these events is to raise funds to support institutes such as SIUT and NICH

The pictures/ videos of the event as well as the efforts of the members would be mentioned on the MileStone facebook page

First event The first event to hold will be the Movie Night

The group members will be assigned their tasks and will have to come to school 1 hour before the event

Examples of tasks assigned for the movie night; Manage the tickets

Setup the equipment for the movie

Help decide the movie amongst the classes
