The February meeting at the
Sportsmanrsquos Lodge pro-

briefing and discussion of
the Civil Air service and its
mission and a variety of
programs including intern-
ships for young people
Great food great atmos-
phere and very good com-
pany
I have appointed a Committee to lead the
recruitment of new members effort They
are CW4 French LTC Marr MAJ Posley amp
Capt Pontius It is Imperative that we focus
energy upon recruiting new members with
emphasis on persuading them to join national
and capturing all of the relevant new member
information If this organization is to have a
voice that can be heard over the noise then
we must recruit and increase our numbers
We are at the gates of the historic home of
many Army Navy Marine and Air force units
through the years We need to honor that
legacy by defending the future
Thank you for all the you do Lewis
I hope you enjoyed the February
Meeting If we can improve things better
please let us know
As we look forward to the future of the organi-
zation was would like to open a discussion
about how improve the meetings and presen-
tations for our general membership meetings
and have a discussion on frequency and tim-
ing desired by the membership I am asking
the entire membership for ideas on what we
could do to improve attendance and engage
the audience in the monthly meetings such as
inviting local musicians vocalists and groups
comedians etc even if we need to pay a fee
for the entertainers Consider also the fre-
quency of such meetings Perhaps we can
discuss ideas at the membership meetings

of those soldiers protecting our nation You may apply as much effort as
you like to make a difference in the issues and topics on which we focus
our efforts
Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization
Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get
together Of course we also have a common interest and we hope to
further our cause
The date and time of the next Executive Committee
meeting will be at Cole Park Commons at Ft Campbell KY
We are generally scheduled to meet on the first
Friday after each General Membership meeting We will
meet at 1130 AM
If they are due please pay your 2012 Chapter
