Military Supplier Launches New Line of Consumer Sunglasses
Command Marketing Corporation, the company that produces these military-style sunglasses under an exclusive license from American Optical, Greenwich, CT, announces the launch of the AO Skymaster Sports Series, the AO Skymaster Classic Series, and the AO Military Series.
To distinguish itself in the highly competitive premium sunglass category, Command will promote both the performance and style of its sunglasses. AO sunglasses provide protection from damaging ultra violet rays.
Command purchased the equipment, tooling, and exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights for AO sunglasses from American Optical Corporation in 1988. Humphrey Introduces a Completely Redesigned, Advanced Lens Analyzer
Humphrey Instruments, Inc, announces the introduction of the Humphrey Lens Analyzer Model 350. The new LA350 represents a major advancement in automated lens reading instrumentation, both in sophistication and ease of use.

through the entire neutralization process. The LA350 offers continuous feedback and even notifies the user of special situations, such as lens aberrations or rapid power changes.
The new Lens Analyzer also uses a helpful feature from the computer and software industries-help screens. If the operator encounters a problem, an in-depth help screen can be accessed to answer virtually any question the operator might have.
ACCURx-Plus™ software is built into evey Lens Analyzer Model 350. This will keep the instrument current for use with any lens materials-even those of the future. The operator simply enters the Abbe value for the lens and the LA350 will adjust accordingly.
