RESEARCH AND SERVICE WORK

� We carry out expert opinions and giving opinions about innovation:

· Metallographic investigations and studies of chemical composition

of structural materials.

· Testing of mechanical properties and hardness fatigue of structural

materials and machine parts.

· The choice of laser technologies according to customer needs.

· Research the useful technological properties of the layers.

· Comparison of quality of laser cutting and plasma cutting the

structural materials.

· Research of the surface stereometry and measurements of the

metrological materials and machine parts.

� Precise welding, micro welding and micro laser cutting of various metal

alloys, applying 2D and 3D, using modern laser positions.

� Precision micro welding of the surface layer of machines and equipment.

� We use modern processes of contactless cleaning, including ablative laser cleaning

of the surface layer of different materials and machine parts - used in production

engineering and repairs of machine elements.

� We perform laser micro- and nano machining of parts of machines and devices (laser

cleaning, texturing) and their application, also in surface engineering in the

aviation and automotive industry.

� We study the regeneration processes of machine elements and equipment by:

- TIG surfacing,

- MIG / MAG surfacing,

- PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) surfacing,

- laser surfacing,

- microplasma surfacing,

- brazing,

- thermal spraying with metallic powders using gas.� Laboratory research in terms of wear resistance under conditions of friction of the various

surface layers and coatings.

� Testing of machine elements and equipment in the Chamber of Low Temperatures.13

� We carry out study of the properties of construction materials:

- chemical composition,

- mikrostructure,

- hardness,

- stereometry of surface,

- wear resistance under conditions of friction,

- research of fatigue properties,

- resistance to corrosion.

� CO2 laser cutting for example plastic, wood, steel and other metals.

� Laser marking (steel, wood, glass, ceramics, leather, plastic).

� We perform laser texturing in the micro- and macro metric scale of machine

elements for applications in different industries, including automotive

industry, aviation, agriculture and military industry, etc.

� We carry out model studies of tribological properties of materials and machine

elements – research of durability on model research positions of engine

elements, machinery, equipment, etc.14

4. Participation in the project - Innovative methods of laser diagnostics and technology repair steam turbine blades, co-financed from the EU budget, carried out by ZRE Katowice SA under Measure 1.4 OP Innovative Economy, which defines the scope of the task. 31.07.2014 - 31.12.2015

• Task 4: Analysis of conditions of work, materials used inside WATand the selection and determine the effect of technological parameters of plasma and laser welding on selected properties of the structural material blades steam turbines. 7. Participation in the development of technology, plasma and laser welding hull exhaust of aircraft engines made of precipitation hardening alloys. Research services PBU / 01- 538/2010 / WAT for Communication Equipment Factory "PZL -Rzeszów" SA in Rzeszow. 2011 -2012.

Proposed areas of cooperation in Horizon 2020:

1- laser machining including micromachining in the range of ablative

cleaning and texturing of materials and machine parts by laser nano,

pico and femto-second (cold ablation).

2- incremental technologies in the field of laser welding, laser

surfacing and laser sintering LENS, for example

SLM - Selective Laser Melting, DMLS - Direct Metal Laser Sintering.

3- process automation laser processing (hardening, surfacing, laser

micromachining - together with the Polish company Certus
