Milk Balancing-Or another?Somebody’s going to get hurt.

Or We all play until the board breaks.

Milk Balancing-And still another. As long as the cow wins nothing else matters?

Perhaps it’s time for a change?

Perhaps from a can to a silo? In it’s day it was progress.

Thanks goodness we don’t stand still!

Notes:Notes:• The milk balancing issue in the NE is a strong disincentive for

expansion and growth investments.• Most of us can see the risks relating to the lack of balancing

capabilities. Inaction resulted pain in every sector of the industry and across the entire supply chain in 2008.

• There is lack of true collaboration and partnership in resolving issues.

• We need a “cow to customer” approach to milk balancing that includes all serious “for the good of all” players. We compartmentalize the problem and look to others to solve while we work in our individual silos.

• The question is not, do we need balancing but rather how do we get it done.

It’s time to rethink milk balancing! It s time to rethink milk balancing!

• “Insanity: doing the same thing over and y g gover again and expecting different results.” Albert Einstein
