Overview:

This half-day workshop will bring together expertise fromthe satellite and satellite-hybrid communicationsindustry membership of the GVF, companies which,amongst other products and services such as fixedsatellite solutions, supply mobile and deployablesatellite and wireless broadband communicationssolutions to military and civilian agency environments,including in situations where such agencies collaboratein the field to deliver effective disaster recovery andemergency management responses. It will explore thecomplexities of the range of combined activities ofmilitary forces and civilian agencies, and to explain howthe respective satellite/wireless broadband networkingrequirements of each of these types of collaboratoraffect and inter-relate with the communicationsdemands of the other.
