Toxic or flammable gases and vapours are a persistent and invisible danger in the mine, highlighting the need for effective ventilation and detection capabilities. Fixed detectors provide consistent area monitoring at key locations in the mine, while portable detectors let miners conduct clearance measurements and personal monitoring to reduce their exposure risks.

Identify the Emergency

Single-gas detectors provide accurate and reliable warning against the presence of hazardous gases and are designed to be small and lightweight. Robust and user-friendly, these devices deliver fast measurements at an economical cost.

– Accurately and reliably detects a variety of hazardous gases – Fast and easy to use with a powerful battery for minimal

maintenance – Designed for personal air monitoring– Recommended product: Dräger Pac® 6000 (measures CO,

H2S, SO2 and O2)

Multi-gas detectors provide the means of detecting several hazardous gases simultaneously in a single portable device. Additional accessories, such as a remote sample pump, make these detectors suitable for clearance measurements.

– Measure up to 7 hazardous substances at once– Optimized for clearance measurements – Measures toxic and flammable gases, as well as vapours

and oxygen– Recommended product: Dräger X-am® 8000
