Instructional technology and e-Learning designers have to be come update about new educational researches.

New educational theories could help to improve the relation between pedagogical concepts and graphic design.

In this unit you will learn about Minimalism and his conceptual and practical applications in our feel.

We decide to use the suffix “minimalims” to titled this unit.

Minimalism describes movements in various forms of art and design, especially visual art and music, where the work is stripped down to its most fundamental features. As a specific movement in the arts it is identified with developments in War II Western Art, most strongly with American visual arts in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Prominent artists associated with this movement include Donald Judd, Carl Andre and Richard Serra. It is rooted in the reductive aspects of Modernism.

“Minimalism IS NOT just doing with less (less features, words, widgets). It is a selectively choosing what to include or eliminate with the purpose of making it easier for the user to quickly learn about a product in a natural and painless way and to start using it to do real work.” Mary Lou Mazzara / Application of theory: minimalism and user centered design.
