I ntrouction

This single unit mining claim # 3008647 was staked by Vaughn Arsenault in November 2003 and filed shortly afterwards.

The area around Little Sturge Lake appeared to have been claimed in the past indicated by obsolete claim posts still erect. Friends more familiar with the history of the area spoke of a lot of drilling and exploration approx 1 km, north of here, around Muskrat Lake.

What primarily attracted my attention to the area was the unusual, vast amount of black sands on the Northern side of Little Sturge Lake. In addition, the wide open surrounding area, which was unclaimed and open for staking at the time. Conducting a little preliminary internet research led me to suspect that the area could be rich in Platinum Group Elements (PGE) "black gold".

Unfortunately, before I had the chance to do some ground reconnaissance (i.e. prospecting), Rampart Ventures' one month's staking expedition, (map staking?), in the late fall, covered all the eye could see in every direction from this claim's prospective. Their News releases and convention handouts illustrate a high similarity to the Uranium rich Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. Rampart calls the area where my claim is, the Sibley Basin, and goes on to say that it is the least explored Helikian aged basin in Canada. It has the potential to host high-grade unconformity deposits. They back these statements up with historic grab samples with results as high as 12% Uranium.

Deeper into Ramparts handouts states, as common public knowledge, that Uranium is found at or near the base of young proterozoic clastic sequences (mainly sandstones) that are commonly un-deformed. In areas where these clastic sequences overlay older proterzoic sedimentary rocks, one generally finds deformed and faulted graphite or sulfide bearing strata. Uranium mineraliztion is typically localized where these faulted strata are overlain by oxidized sandstone.

In addition to Rampart's propaganda, the Lake Nipigon Geoscience Initiative (LNRGI) recent released MAP P.4561 shows a new fault with unknown vertical component running right through this claim.

This is all good news for my little wee claim in the heart of this new Giant. could be seeing significant returns in the near future. Therefore, it is my intention to dig, blast, and drill as deep as I can, to unveil what's in the "basement" so to speak - between the younger top layer and the ancient rock 200-300 meters below. With some luck I ma y bump into the high-grade pitchblende veins that Rampart is looking for.

Lake in the Nipigon District. To access the Claim from Thunder Bay, you must drive 70 km east on Trans Canada and turn left onto the Black Sturgeon Road. Then drive north on gravel road for 62 km, make a left and drive for another 18 km on a trail like road. There is a myriad of forks and roads left behind from logging activities-very easy to get lost. A GPS with mapping properties is a must for newcomers - or a guide - give me a call.

This past summer, my partner and I have traveled at least three completely different paths to get to this claim. To fulfill the minimum requirements for this report I have only the time to describe one.

It takes an average of 2.5 hours to make the 150km trip one-way. Therefore, round trip about 324km and approximately 5 hours of time depending on road conditions.

2003/09/27 Prospecting My first trip out to this area, took many wrong turns on unmarked roads - little sjgnage. Had no GPS. Rock and sand examined showed nothing of interest. Drove a total of

324 km, 12 hrs.

2003/10/13 Prospecting Checked out the northern side of Little Sturge, walked up and down the beach several times at varying distances from the water - noticed that in addition to the color of the sand that the beach

. extended couple hundred meters north from the ! water. Eagle GPS did not function very well was off by hundreds of meters.

2005/05/30 Prospecting cris-crossed the dry land area or at least where I could - very thick overburden. Took a few representative grab samples of exposed rock from the beach - sent for assaying results included in this report. Attempted to drill through the sand with a home made water drill. Due to the size, flow rate and HP (1 inch pipe, 30 gpm, 1/2 HP), only achieved a depth of 10 feet. Samples were collected. Appearance was notably red as opposed to the surfaces black sand. 3 days (12*3) =

300km 36hrs

Conclusions The small size of this claim, only a single unit, was intentional. The theory

behind it was to leave room to entice larger corporations to get involved should there be any promising showings; and, obviously the minimal Assessment work of only $400 should be easily achievable and maintained. However, it was not foreseen or conceivable that such a large area could be claimed by so few in such a harsh overburden area in such a short time. Rampart Ventures LTD moved in and completely enveloped this claim and surrounding area in less than a few weeks just before winter's first snow. Although, in my opinion, they broke a lot of staking rules, to their credit, Rampart has at least published detailed information of their plans. The info may have been solely created for attracting investors, but it adversely lead me thinking and searching in an entirely different direction. Instead of only looking for PGE base ore, I am now looking for radioactive ore deep below the surface.

At the time of staking, I was unaware of the ongoing Lake Nipigon Region Geoscience Initiative (LNRGI), but some of the material such as their arial radioactivity, confirms low levels radiation directly over this claim. Ramparts aerial conductive survey, displayed publicly at the last Prospectors Trade show in Thunder Bay Ontario shows promising results including target drill sites for summer of 2005. It is my hope that they will diamond drill nearby, publish the results, and make an attractive offer for the rights to my claim.

Addendum A - Sample Description Claim # 3008647

The following is a composite sample description of grab samples A,B, and C taken from exposed rock along the north side of Little Sturge Beach. Map page 4 in report illustrates exact UPS location.

non-metallic black, vitreous, granular, magnetic, fracture -irregular hardness - somewhere around 6 tenacity - brittle Major elements illustrated by assay # 67603 include: Fe 5.04% AI 0.84% Ca 0.76% K0.42% rng 0.26% Si 0.03%

Possibly mafic intrusive Rock of the Course-grained diabase type.

Since at this time MNDM claim reservations include sand and gravel, any sand samples taken, were exclude from any lab analysis at this time.
