    Sympathy

The White Plains family extends its heartfelt sympathy to Dorri Van Sloten and family on the death of her husband, Harlyn “Van” Van Sloten. Van’s service will be held at White Plains UMC on June 8 at 2pm with a reception immediately following the service.

The White Plains family also extends its heartfelt sympathy to Shirley Little on the death of her aunt, Nannie Moye Fussell.

    Celebration

Congratulations to Amanda DeMaster and John Houghton on the birth of their son, Elijah Oakes Houghton, born on April 6, 2019 in Huntersville, NC. Elijah is the grandson of Vicki and Dave DeMaster.

Pat Johnson gave her life to family, church and music and inspired us all. Out of her call to serve others and her love of music, she dedicated years of her life to the music ministry of White Plains United Methodist Church. Therefore out of our love for her and our gratefulness for her service, we dedicate the anthem to her.
