Minnesota boasts 11,842 lakes that are ten acres or larger.

Minnesota is home to the first fully enclosed shopping mall in the United States (Southdale Shopping Center in Edina) and the biggest (Mall of America in Bloomington).

The Minnesota State Fair attracts 1.8 million fair goers in just 12 days.

Minnesota golfers can tee it up on 170 golf courses in the metro area and 600 across the state.

The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is the largest urban sculpture garden in the country.

The new U.S. Bank Stadium will host the 2018 Super Bowl and 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four..Skyways in downtown Minneapolis connect 52 blocks (nearly five miles) making it possible to eat, shop, live and work without every going outside.

You can wade across the mouth of the mighty Mississippi, located in Itasca County.

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area comprises 1.09 million acres of wilderness within the Superior National forest in northeastern Minnesota. It is the most visited wilderness area in the U.S., renown for canoeing, fishing and camping.
