For the first time in franchise history, the Vikings travel to Green Bay for a Week 2 matchup in back-to-back seasons. The 2018 contest resulted in a 29-29 tie, only the third in series history and the first since Week 11 in 2013. In the last three trips to Green Bay, the Vikings are 1-1-1 and hold a 5-1-1 overall record in the last seven matchups.

The last time the Raiders played in Minneapolis was at the Metrodome on November 20, 2011, where Oakland walked away with a 27-21 win. Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph caught his first career touchdown as a rookie in the previous contest, a one-yard grab from QB Christian Ponder.

The Vikings head to Soldier Field to face the reigning NFC North Champions for the 117th time in franchise history. Minnesota suffered a 20-25 loss after their comeback fell short in 2018. The Week 4 matchup with the Bears and Vikings marks the earliest meeting between the teams since their Week 2 game in 2013.

Week 5 marks the first time Zimmer faces his former offensive coordinator and current Giants head coach, Pat Shurmur. The Vikings take a trip to MetLife Stadium for the second consecutive season after playing the Jets in Week 7 of 2018. Minnesota is looking for its ninth road win against the Giants and first since 2007.

The Vikings face the Eagles for the fourth consecutive season, including playoffs, to mark the longest streak in series history. Philadelphia will make their first trip back to Minneapolis since defeating New England in Super Bowl LII. Last year’s Vikings win in Philadelphia tied the series at 14-14 all-time.

Last year marked the first home and away sweep of Detroit for Minnesota since 2015 and second since Zimmer became head coach. The Vikings have won three out of the five road matchups against the Lions under Zimmer. In last season’s game played at Ford Field, the Vikings defeated Detroit, 27-9, behind a career game from Rudolph.

For the first time since 2016, the Vikings host Thursday Night Football at U.S. Bank Stadium. Washington and Minnesota will rekindle their matchup after a one-year hiatus and ultimately decide who takes over the all-time series. The last time the teams played each other, the Vikings won, 38-30, at Fedex Field in 2017.

Minnesota last saw Kansas City in 2015, defeating the Chiefs, 16-10, at a game played on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The Vikings look to win their first road game against the Chiefs since the team’s inaugural trip to Kansas City in 1974.

Week 10 marks the first of two Sunday Night Football appearances for the 2019 Vikings. Zimmer will travel back to Dallas for the first time since being named Head Coach in Minnesota. The last time the Cowboys traveled to Minneapolis, they beat the Vikings, 17-15, on December 12, 2016.

The Vikings and Broncos, who met in preseason action in Denver last year, will play for the first time in Minnesota since December 4, 2011. Minnesota looks to redeem its three-point loss in its most recent regular-season game at Denver in Week 4 of 2015. A win at home will tilt the 7-7 series scale in the Vikings’ favor.

Monday Night Football stars the Vikings at Seahawks matchup for the second consecutive year. A win at CenturyLink Field will mark the first December Monday Night Football victory for Minnesota since 2007, when the team beat Chicago on December 17, 2007.

2019 will close out with three of the last four games coming against divisional opponents for the first time since the 1996 season. In 2018, the Vikings snagged their first win against the Lions since the opening of U.S. Bank Stadium, beating them, 24-9, while setting a new franchise record for the most sacks in a single game (10).

The Vikings face the Chargers for the first time since the franchise relocated to Los Angeles in 2017. Dating back to their first matchup in 1971, the teams have traded wins and losses with each meeting. This is the second consecutive year Minnesota travels to L.A., marking the first time the franchise has traveled to the city in back-to-back years since the 1992-93 seasons.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Bears travel to Minnesota to finish out the regular season. This year, the Vikings look to collect their fourth win in the last six contests against the Bears and improve their record at U.S. Bank Stadium against their division foe to 3-1.

Green Bay crosses the border to meet Minnesota on Monday Night Football for the first time since October 5, 2009, a 30-23 Vikings win. The Vikings look to earn their fourth consecutive win at home against the Packers, making it the longest streak since Minnesota won five straight from 1992-1995.

have a seat at our family table

In June, the Minnesota Vikings Foundation, in partnership with Xcel Energy, introduced Vikings Table, a custom-built food truck with the mission of serving healthy meals and nutritional education to youth across the Minneapolis-St. Paul community.

• The 38-foot, Winnebago truck is a zero-waste vehicle with energy star rated appliances and built-in solar panels.

• The kitchen is designed to hold 10 food preparation professionals, while the rear portion of the vehicle features an experiential room showcasing an 80-inch monitor that can display educational videos and nutritional information.

• Meals will be served from June to December on a biweekly basis at schools, summer education

programs, youth enrichment centers and other locations where childhood food insecurity is prevalent.

• Funds will be raised by selling a separate full menu of food truck entrees twice a week at local food truck festivals, Vikings home games, training camp and other team events, as well as to the lunch crowd in downtown Minneapolis; 100 percent of the profits will go back to distributing healthy meals to youth.

• A full schedule can be found online at the Minnesota Vikings Foundation website or via the Twitter handle @VikingsTable.

• Viking Table will be maintained and operated by Tony and Haley Fritz
